What would YOU like to see in PES 3?

Here's a few ideas i think would improve PES in the next series.
How about shirt pulling a common occurence in modern football and would make PES more realistic.Also the ability to take a dive would be welcome.A few more flair moves like Zidane's 360 degree dragback or just a simple drop of the shoulder to fox the defender.One move Fifa had in one of it's previous games was the ability to shield the ball which could also be implemented.
The free kicks need more variety instead of just shooting maybe the ability to lay the ball off for someone else to strike or simply dummying over the ball.If you've played ISS on the N64 you can make the defensive wall jump again maybe something to bare in mind eh Konami

You can make the defensive wall jump using a combination of buttons, i've just forgotten what does what. (Anyone want to enlighten this bloke about this?)

You can shield the ball in PES it just doesn't seem to happen much because you are always moving. If you are wondering, to do this, stay stationary and hold L1. When an opposing player tries to steal the ball the player will shield it away from the opposition.

A lay off for a free kick would be a brilliant feature. Scoring edge of the box free kicks is not too easy. (I'm fine from range)

Not too sure about the dive, wouldn't be a bad idea but it might provoke the player to do it everytime a challenge flies in thus hindering a flowing game.

I think shirt pulling is in there, just not very obvious thats all.

Okay i just remembered something that's in the PS 1 PES that's not in PES on PS2 in the options you can slow down the game speed great if you bring it down a few notches.I have'nt actually played PES 2 much but i remember PES 1 on Playstation 2 and generally i felt a little disappointed it just felt a bit "floaty" i still personally prefer PES on PS 1.It would be great if Konami would releasePES for the PC with the online community it could be well modded for different stadiums kits and the like.Another idea for PES 3 would be more varied weather conditions(snow and wind anybody?)

the buttons for making the wall jump are L1+something i think, lots of options. some makes them jump, some makes them charge the ball down.

I would like to see a better graphics engine like in Fifa 2003.I would like to see specific kits and more specific and realistic faces for players.

i would like to see and instant replay option when playing the game, often good things happen thatd u want to look at again but cant. Also angles for the free kick replays sometimes good but mostly very bad angles that dont let u see the goal. I would like to see more control over players so they dont run out the pitch with the ball at their feet, also how about mini leagues so u can put together a league with ur mates or a cup.

i would like to see user stats like in many shoot em up games.
then there would not be arguing about who is the best player. stats could include several things... like...
- winning average
- goals for/ goals against
- top scorers
- match results
- pass %
- shoot%
- greatest wins
- biggest loses
- consecutive wins/ losses.................plus many more..........

there could be so many stats that would finally convince your friend about your superiour skill... who want to remember losses...

yea, that would be a great idea. i think there is something similar in iss3... so i cant see why it shouldnt be in pes3.

I'd love to see an updated transfer system so that you can easily transfer out of date players which you can't do in Pro Evo 2 (Ronaldo at Inter, Ferdinand at Leeds). Also names on the back of shirts will probably be there because it's in WE6:FE i think. I think the name's will look cool. Obviously I'd also love to see them get a huge license so there's less names 2 change. Perhaps the roster should be waaaay more updated than in Pro Evo 2 as well. That's all I can think of at the moment. Later...

i realy would like to see that you can play with more than one human player in masterleague with different teams, why isnt that in it anyway i miss that in all the footie games. Come on konami lets learn about sensible soccer it was great to experience it with my friends trying to promote before my friends did.

here's something i don't think anybody's mentioned but how about being able to play a full 90 minute match.On PES 2 on PS1 the longest time for a match is 30mins

One thing that i believe should be improved in the next game is the aftertouch ability. i feel n pes2 it lacks controlability and realism, accept in free kicks and corners. but during the course of a game the player seems to have little or no ability to bend passes and shots, i remeber in iss2(i think) where i could curl cross field passes into the path of a player, or curl thru balls round defenders adding a much more realistic feel to the game. it would be so satisfying to curl a shot into the top corner using your skills as a player not having it magically whip round as in fifa (crapola).

having a replay button would be sweet as you do cool stuff during the game or miss the goal of the season, but dont have the ability to save that moment.

i could go on but most other thing have been mentioned, lets hope they take all the advice and make another amazing game, sadly i doubt they will. will they ever listen to the fans??

Hold Square to make the wall jump.
Hold X to make it stay down.
Hold R1 to make some players come running out of the wall and some jump.

Perhaps Nokami do listen to some of the fans at the PESFAN forum as they have close links.

It would take a lot of concentration to be able to play a match for more than 30 minutes. I think most people play for 10 mins anyways.

The only problem about the transfer ability is that if we can do it ourselves, we would be less inclined to buy the next game with newer rosters. So they would lose out. So it may not be in their best interests to implement it.

They have added certain player stats at the end of matches in WE6:FE. But not sure if the consecutive wins etc stats as players could swap controllers and there could be many players to add to the list or whatever.

Curling the ball was best in SWOS!

i think curling in pes is just about right, not over the top like fifa or anything.

and yes, i believe konami do OCCASIONALLY look over the pesfan forums. i may be mistaken, but im sure konami sponsor pesfan, ie. for things such as the goal of the month competitions. maybe one day these forums will grow enough for konami to take notice... the only thing i dont want these forums to do is go down the same road as evo-web and basically become a we6fe forum.

There should be some improvements in these areas:

- This happens usually while playing with 2-4 players in the same team.

-Sometimes when you're attacking you simply can't get the right player under your control.
Example...as you approach the the goal with your intelligent attack formation and you see your other striker wide open near the post and you try to pass to that player, you just can't get that player...What happens then is that you can't get the ball and your chance to SCORE slips trough your hands!
The situation doesn't change much even if you adjust the automatic/manual player change tensity.
It might cause frustration especially when playing in a same team wíth you friend...

This area could need some improvements please.
