Whats the furthest distance you've scored from?

Hi guys,finding it really hard to score from long distance!On the training on PES5[PS2] it showed you to fit full power just after the centre circle and managed it a couple of times.Now on PES2009 [PS3] whenever i try it its like my budgie could hit it better!Any tips?is it 'do-able'?

with quality players you can score from 30 yards or so, you need clear space and to be sprinting preferable though, not really possible on top player. on xbox 360 you can score from your own half with a long ball though lol
