Yeh Modric becomes pretty good, i tend to rotate him with Kaka for some of the more easier fixtures. He always performs well at AMF for me.

Midway through the 1st season i signed Fred and had Fred and Bellamy upfront, and Bellamy got 33 goals Fred 37 Goals,and needed another keeper so i got Coupet from Lyon then the season ended finished 2 points behind Liverpool who came first and decided i needed to strengthen up my squad a bit so i tried to get M.Richards and decided to do a swap deal for Neil and that worked out successfully, then Milito was free so i got him in defence. I decided i needed 2 right wingers so Tried for Elano & Juninho and got them both. D'Alessandro was a stroke of luck then had Trezeguet too. I then needed my funds up a bit so i managed to get rid of the following players:
Wright, Walker, Collins, Mullins, Ashton, Noble.
Any thoughts are welcome.

He has been my best player so far. Hetemaj and Giovinco are good also but not so concistent. Defence is starting to work mainly Kompany beeing solid. Maldini is still 18 and has not developed too good. Lindgren is becoming a world class DMF and Jurado is good also. I think ill try to buy Benzema next.

I'm Middlesbrough on the highest difficulty level (top player?) and I am only in my second season. However I have changed my tream significantly:

in my first season i also had Forlan up front who proved to be a prolific goalscorer. However i sold him in a deal worth around 9000p and Nedved. Many of my signings are free agents and by bringing these in and selling players such as Tuncay and Downing my current bank balance stands at around 45p.
Odonkor is a great signing, his pace will rip apart any team and he guarantees both goals and assists. He set up 2 and scored 2 as i beat Arsenal 4-3. Well worth signing.

yeah odonkor is the best winger i'ver came across in the game by far. cavenaghi probably won't be a good signing for Chelsea, you're best of trying to sign a big name like Adriano or Torres.

Thanks. Im still in division 2 so i might have trouble getting the big boys to join. I will try for odonkor at the end of the season. bilyaletdinov is playing fantastic i recommend him. do u think i could get someone like torres if i get promotion (which i look like doing). have u found negotiations difficult?i couldnt even get bale to join..........?

Tiago is a good shout. I'm Juventus and he is outstanding at DMF.
I think that if you search players 'open to negotiation' at the end of the first season then you should be able to sign a word class striker then. however, you may have to offer a player in trade. Also, i find negotiations are reasonably easy but its just now more realistic as to which players will join your club and when. For now you're best off looking just at all the players under quick search and then youngsters and, especially at the end of the first season, free agents.
