Which PES version should i try?

hey peoples
I'm looking to get back into PES after a good few years.
I've been playing 2013 for a while and it's been really enjoyable.
I have 2021 on PS4, but it's not doing it for me.
So the question is, which version should i try from 2015 to 2019?

I'm reading that 2017 is very good, but then also 2019 too.

Some advice would be appreciated.

i've got the range from 2015 to 2021 on PS4 too, and i have to say PES2019 is the best hands down.

15/16/17 show incremental improvements and are enjoyable, 18 was awful because of the constant stupid back heel passing all teams seem to pull off seamlessly.
i'm in the championship in master league, and i've got team like bristol city pulling off back heels everywhere, and leading to them scoring. it's so overboard and i can't play it. had to abandon it.

2019 is absolutely awesome. i'm getting used to the tricks on the ball, and finding what works for me.
the ball will ricochet loose and you battle for it.


negatives for 2019 for me are:
crossing - i can't seem to score headers easily - although spoony pizzas guides say use super cancel - but that really shouldn't be the case in my eyes!
