Who to go

Hi all
looking for some advice on who to go. Really can't get into a good Master league. I look for a team preferably with a nice kit and at least 1 good youth player i can build my squad around. Recently been Sporting Gijon, Real Sociedad, Ajax, Auxerre, Derby, Burnley.

Its really frustrating I cant get a good ML i love, I've played at least a season with all teams above generally with too much success too soon but don't feel the buzz like i have in previous years.

any recommendations greatly appreciated.

Are you playing with the real life squads (eg Hughes for Derby, Ings for Burnley)? Because if you are, I would suggest you try playing with the ML defaults.

Alternatively, pick a completely shit team like Wigan or Blackburn!

I know what you mean though, the ML has lost its buzz, it's far too easy. I started an ML with Bolton. First season I struggled initially (playing on hardest difficulty), but then once I got used to it, I got promoted via the playoffs, and won the PL comfortably the following season.

That being said, I'm still addicted to it . Played around 6 seasons with Bolton, and am now about 2/3 through my first season with Newell's Old Boys.

Im doing it with the real players yeah purely for realism. Think its because I dont actively support any team on the game so no real natural affection. But on previous games have always found a team and done 6-12 seasons with them. Base the entire team on youth possession football with at least 1 youngster who will be my stalwart lol

12 seasons? Crikey. Back in the day, I'd do 5 seasons max, and then create a new ML.

Yeah hence the youth player means I have him till he retires as 1st choice. My captain and heartbeat of team.
