Why am I not able to edit my posts?

Right, the problem appears to be that the board - for whatever reason - no longer likes posts where the URL BB code is used more than three times. An alternative way to link to posts is to use [POST]. It works in the following way:

Code:
[POST=2019116]a[ / POST]

The above, without spaces, would link to a post in this very thread and would call the link "a" as per my post above. In order to find the post number of the post you want to link to, look for the thread post number above the post text toward the right (for this post it is where you see #22 written). If I copy the URL of this post and then paste it, it says
Code:
http://www.pesgaming.com/showpost.php?p=2019125&postcount=22-

The post number is 201912.

Seems complicated to me.. I can't edit my post on both my thread..

You have to remove all of the URL links in your post or it won't accept your edit. You are allowed, for some reason, a maximum of only three URL tags in a post. Any more and it is refusing to process your request. You then need to use POST tags, not URL ones to post the links to other posts within a thread.

In your Serie A thread you have at least 20 URL tags - a link for each team. For some reason you suddenly cannot have more than 3. If your edited post has more than three, you'll get the error. You need to replace them with POST tags.

Wow, it's gonna take a really lot of work to change every single URL to POST tags:unsure:
Thanks anyway

Hey Sweey, i know it must be complicated but i hope you and your team can fix this soon. I prefer the URL tags better.
And if you can, i'll be glad if you can, for the time being make something like an "Insert Link" button but instead of URL tags it got POST tags cos it sure will make work really easier then must type [post=][/post] in every single link.
Just an idea though.

Thanks;)

I've sort of managed this

In the quick reply and quick edit areas there is now an additional button which looks like the create link button and will create the [POST] and [/POST] tags although it doesn't include the = sign. I too prefer the URL tags.

I've asked Matt Holme (who runs the site but doesn't often use the forum) to see if there is anything the hosting company are aware of. The only information I've been able to uncover on this particular issue relates to some security settings which the hosting company themselves could have enabled.

Am I right if I think the problem with the URL-code has been solved? Because today I could post new links as usual...

I haven't had an email to say that anything has been changed by our service provider but if its working then I'm glad to hear it.

Paul2478 wrote yesterday in the evening that he could edit his posts "the old way".
I tried this morning and it works again!

Right, here's the really bad news: this isn't about permissions. I can't edit your posts either - I get the exact same message you do.

I just tried moving your Russian Premier League thread into another area and then back again to see if it would refresh all contents and make them editable but it hasn't. I believe - and am VERY sorry - that you might need to re-create the threads from scratch, using copy and paste to quickly create the individual post contents.

This is certainly not a problem we have experienced during my time as admin which, aside from a break of a few months, goes back a number of years Bluestacks Kodi Lucky Patcher.

Yes, you need to re-create conversation strings from scratch, using copy and paste to quickly create individual publishing content.
Yeah
