Many of us as a PES Fans would like to buy the game this year , but will you judge the game based on the demo realease , or the demo still won`t be 100% of your judgement for the game ?

I'll be getting the game regardless. But I'll make my final judgement in about November, after a couple of months of properly playing it.

The word demo is short for demonstration which is part of the actual game. So yeah, I usually make my judgement there, although the full game MIGHT make last chance fixes and some finalisation of things, the purpose of the demo is still to try and get you to purchase the full game. I still however say, that to make full judgements of the game, you want to get the full game, but the demo will be the determining factor to get the full game. :)

It is happening again
I doubt the demo will sway me against buying the game. Unless it's truly shocking.

im going to get the game anyways, pes is so much more fun than fifa, fifa is too realistic, pes is just much more fun and the graphics are way better, but in this release i want the trade option to come back in master league

I've played both, FIFA is probably the least realistic of the two, its like pinball football.

This. And to add to the 'realism' of FIFA, legendary AI always seem to find a way to play the ball down the flank, run out of options, Heskey would peel out in the wing for support and put in an inch perfect cross with his left foot. :|

This complete lack of intricate and unpredictable football is ridiculous from EA. Okay, teams like Stoke may not always play intricate stuff, but the fact of the matter is that they will be able to be unpredictable at times- even if not all the time. The current FIFA mechanics promotes AI teams to always play the same passages and score from the same situations. In reverse to PES, where teams sometimes do the unthinkable and it works out well (or not :p) and actually try to be clever with their play.

Obviously, the PES gameplay has some major flaws but at least they try this stuff. /Rant.

(Sorry for rant. :L)

I will buy Pes 12 from Gamestop. USED. About a week after release there will be plenty copies available from dissatisfied customers at a nice discount. No revenues from me Konami. I may even buy a couple new copies of Fifa for my pals.

It's all about the demo for me this year!

The greatness of PES 3-6 made me have blind faith in Konami and I've pre-ordered PES for the last few years.

Not this year!! I've finally run out of patience! I've decided I'm going to download the PES 2012 and Fifa 12 demos and play at least 50 games on each before I decide which game to buy.

I might even wait until Nov to make my mind up. PES will have prob dropped in price by then too :)

After last years demo i got the game because i loved how you could not use the pressure button without some thought. You gave freekicks away if you tried to go through a player. So what did they they do in the full game, remove it and back to just press pressure button and you will get a foot in. Just shocking!

Result bing pong football online. So just hope this year the demo is more or less the gameplay we will buy in the shops.

I always get the game regardless. However I do play the demo every time, if only to whet my whistle before the main games comes out :D
