World Cup?

We got the World Challenge DLC for PES 2014 (if anyone still has that on their console can you let me know?).

Does anyone know if Konami are planning on doing anything for the World Cup this year?

Or will we just rely on the great work of the patch makers to update squads, kits, managers, etc and just play the international cup mode?

Yeah I'm well aware.

However, as I said, PES 2014 had a World Challenge mode. I asked Konami and they said they have no plans but we can hope they add something.

Suppose in the meantime we've got great option file makers that'll enable us to create the tournament either way.

I played my whole life fifa but since a few years i started with playing pes too and i'm very happy with it! Fifa for online and pes offline champions league tournaments and classic teams(real madrid, ac milan,.. ) exhibition games.

The Europe Cup games are for pes and the world cups for fifa and i don't have to miss anything!

After the dissappointing news about EA's World Cup DLC (no PS3 support) me and a friend of mine have turned to PES as a possible solution for playing a full tournament with all the real teams / players. Just need to know a couple of things before buying the game. Apparently we would need an option file that covers the 32 national teams.. does one of those exist for PS3? And is it even possible to start a tournament in PES with 32 teams, all selected?

There should be many OF in youtube. And yes, you can start International Cup (many OF would change the competition name & logo to World Cup) and select the teams draw order as you wish.
