I used slot 1 for my formation so it would be nice if the goals don't go in there. :)

He i was wondering why isnt there a program which can convert XPS goalfiles to AVI files for example? Is it so hard to do?? I really dont know, but if they can make all those editors and programs for WE/PES why not such a program? I would be worth the try me thinks! What do you think?

I think that it would be very difficult thing to make.
It's not like the PS2 itself can make it into a video itself. We always need the game itself to be running to load a replay. Similar to other games like SSX.

On the other hand, if a PC could run PS2 games, then you could just play your replay and use fraps etc to video it. Which would be much simpler.

We await the future :)

Yes but the PS2 is reading also the option files, and still we are able to do the same on the PC (reading option files) So why would it be so difficult?

ash, no. that's what we're discussing.

GFK, yes the PS2 and PC can read the option files but without the game itself, the replay file is useless.

But why Zyg?? Why o Why?? Why do we need the game to view the replays?? Winning Eleven or the PS2 use a method to convert/read the replays just like the ps2/we convert/read the option file. Agreed? So we are able to make a program who can read the option file just like the PS2 without the PS2 or the game itself. So why would that be impossible for a replay??

GFK, I know what you're saying and I agree in principle but it's not really realistic.
It's like saying, I have video tape and I want to run it on my PC. It's not going to work with a VCR, is it?

The game is where the info for all the pitch, players and kits come from. Without that, I'm not sure what it is that is stored on the replay file. The motion of the players for 7 seconds?

ahh, I dunno.

cant the pc version read the ps2 replays? like u extract the save game with ps2savebuilder cant the pc read it with the pc version and jus use fraps?

Are you sure the kits etc are taken from the game?

Paul B said something about Giggsys england kit being wrong, when he was viewing one of Giggsys replays, so surely the kit was saved on the file?

Also when ive edited a kit, the replay file stays the same as it was previously.

I think the replay remembers whether the kit is default or edited but the actual image of it comes from the game disk.

Mm, some good news, in a short time there will be website where you can upload your WE7I goals and then they will be converted. But I dont know when this website is in the air, maybe within a few days but it could also be within a few months. So if you have your camera again Zyg please give a shout:)

For a while anyways.

So post them up.

How about this idea:
People open a new thread for their X-Port files.
When they are all converted, we close the thread.
