About the Kinect, I have been told it randomely uploads pics onto FB. Is this true or do you have to do it manually?

HELP (again!)

I signed into x-box live ages ago on the actual website on PC, not through my 360. I used my e-mail address and password, then created a gamer tag I believe, STOTTY1979 or STOTT1979.

I forgot about this and have just tried to connect my 360. I was allowed to installed several updates and even version 1.20 for P.E.S. but when I try to play it it asks me to join X-box live.

I follow the steps, but when I put in my e-mail address and password it tells me this Windows ID belongs to another gamertag.

This prompted me to go to the PC, to the Live website, use the 'forgot my password' option and I recieved an E-mail reminder which leads me back to the profile I created ages ago.

Is it possible to still use this profile and still get the free months Gold membership as the PC created profile is only Silver?

EDIT: Also, I cant find an option on my 360 to just sign into Live, only to join. I could just try to enter the STOTT 1979 tag if I could but as I said, all I seem to find is creating a new profile.

I have to recover gamertag.

EDIT: Still unsure as to whether I will get my months free gold though?

Seems to be a problem with sky broadband users at the minute, it's prompting me to change the MTU settings on my router. There's a few threads on the skyuser forums with people having the exact same problem. Hope they sort it out soon!

Also, is it normal that the 360 is loud as a vaccum cleaner? I have a 360 Elite (2007 MFR Date) and it's loud as fuck.

Granted I bought it used on eBay but it was cheap and good condition. I hope it doesn't die on me soon.

Some of the older models do indeed hum like a concorde jet. Don't even think about adding a cooling fan on though as more ofen than not it can implode the console.

You tend not to notice after a while, just don't watch DVDs on it as it'll be difficult to hear all subtle dialogue etc unless you turn the volume up loud. Of course the newer models are said to be really quiet apparently, I wouldn't know but it seems reasonable since new fans were used I believe.

My model is a few years old, but thankfully since it was repaired it doesn't make too much noise now - or it does but my mind automatically blocks it out. :lol:
