Sorry guys been off live for a bit. My ISP have decided to do some "network upgrade maintenence" So i'll have some down time, they aren;t doing it in one go. SO its been down the last couple days, back on today, and off tomorrow till Sunday they tell me. Anyways, the live league prelims draw is made, so we gotta start sorting out games, those in my group.
Zyg, just played you as ScottJackson, sorry about leaving the game mate, the lag got too much, it wasn't bad time delay wise, but there was just no quick, normal response from my players at all.
I was looking forward to playing you as well. Hopefully another time, just so you know.

Good games mate. Yeah I thought the first one was lagging Your game too, worst i've experience as yet but thought id stick with it as it was probably the same in the first game. Cheers for the games mate

www.adslguide.org (I think we should all try this out so we get an idea of everyone's upload and download speeds, which I am sure affects games as we are connecting peer to peer)
Anyways, i did mention in that my ISP is carrying out upgrades, and it doesnt seem to be completed. My upload has dropped all the way to 97kbs from 256 and my download from 1000 to 744kbs.
Thing is, My connection is not running at full speed at all!! I'm going to call them to see how long this is going to take. Basically playing me right now is probably not a good idea. Hopefully this will be sorted soon, but its really annoying!!

i was 3 nil down so wacked the shoot button as it came to me on the half way line, and it flew in, the keeper dive backwards but was helpless, went much higher than normal long shots.

Yeah, i seen your stats Giggsy, you do infact have a really good upload speed too, so chances are whoever you play wont suffer from much lag. Hehe i'm glad i set up that thread cos if I am right, and the uploads do determine how much/how less the game lags, then we'll know if someone is lying about how much their game is lagging. It hink if someone is near enough 256 up, there shouldn't be too much lag for the client, but I cant really prove that yet, need to see a pattern.
