I'd go with PS2 simply because i have that and cant be bothered forking out the money for the X Box gear and then about £20 on a network cable to go from one room to the next!

Plus, you get brand spanking new option files, with flashy kits that have sponsors upon thyne garment. Ha Ha!

I'm with you on this one. Nothing beats real friends. Pro Evo, beer and a few lads huddled round the telly is a recipe for success.

I was tempted to move over to the 'dark side' and buy a BillBOX, but seeing as the only advantage it has over the PS2 is online capability then i dont think i'll bother. I've spent a fortune on control pads, multitaps and memory cards and i'm not letting them go to waste, so PS2 it is. Plus you only have to wait another week for PS2 version. And the XBOX controller is shit. And its made by the evil microsoft.

Your about 1 page to late RETARD ( friends get predictable jus like R2-D2 )

Plus james you can get a xbox converter to use your ps2 pad on the xbox and playing against your friends is all gud but when you wanna test ya skills against real evo players like the ones on this board then its all about online

Indeed there is, thats why my multiplayer experiences involve multitaps and not XBOX live kits.

I´m still happy with the "old-fashioned" method, however I´m not aversed from Xbox online play, might try it possibly in the next few weeks

using the ps2 converter isnt exactly going to mean that the buttons are going to be the same. it might not even work properly.

I have both ps2 final version and the xbox beta. I'm preferring the xbox version at the minute. I had a lot of slowdown on 60hz mode on the PS2 version, and in 50hz mode the game seem to run faster, not sure if it was me though. The xbox version has no slowdown whatsoever. I'm used to the controls now too, they're not as bad as what people are making out. All thats changed is L2 and R2. Plus i've heard the ps2 pad converters work perfectly for it, may get one soon :)
