RDR for me although I haven't been blown away by any game in 2010.

RDR is great so far (I haven't completed it yet) but like Hunter said, I find it very hard to continue playing a sandbox game after the initial excitement wears off.

I haven't got the time to play Mass Effect 2 but I think that may well have got my vote if I had.

Cannot believe I was the only one to vote for GT5. PES this year rules too.

I'm surprised there was only one vote for GT 5 too. I also expected more votes for GoW 3 and Battlefield: BC 2, and at least a couple for the wii games.

BELIEVE
Black ops isnt a patch on CoD4 but shits all over MW2.

This guy knows the score. Drinks on me brother. I wouldn't say COD4 was "far" superior to Black Ops mind, but it was a bit better. Possibly helped by the fact I was a few years younger and more of my friends played on the Xbox at the time too so we'd always play together, and the banter online was really hilarious at times. Only some of my mates play on the Xbox regularly now so more often than not I'm in games on my own, which probably helps my concentration mind, but obviously the banter isn't the same.

I'm shocked anyone has voted for it. Such a long wait for GT4.1...

Is it really that similar?

I understand that when it comes to racing games they'll always be somewhat similar, but GT5 has been in construction for about 5 years. I didn't really like the menus for GT4, it felt "too" clean almost and empty in fact. Anyway, you now need to tell me why you consider it 4.1...not that I'll actually ever own the game since I'm an Xbox 360 user and don't see the point in owning two consoles - unless you're very well off of course.

Most of the car models are from GT4, as are most of the tracks. Oh, and a good portion of the music. Apart from a facelift for the GT mode, the only really new stuff is the pathetically small number of 'premium' cars with interior view and working wipers. Certainly not worth 5 years waiting.

And I'm not a flash git just 'cos I have 2 consoles. Just work hard.

Wish I hadn't plumped for Fallout New Vegas. Its no Fallout3. I'm bored of the fucking thing already.

Heavy Rain was my favourite game of the year. I sat up hours playing through that when I got it, completed it about 6 in the morning then started again.

Disappointing to hear that really. Still, they'll never top the effect that GT3 had.

PS: The two console comment wasn't aimed at you, I didn't even look on the side bar and see you had two when I posted (I know now mind of course!). I was just referring to how I have Forza 3, so won't ever feel the need to convert - along with me discussing buying a sole Blu-Ray player instead of PS3 (in the DVD thread). Not that you're actually offended in any way but, I felt the need to explain brother.

Peace is love.

I agree it's not as good as Fallout 3. It doesn't have the same charm to it, or the same feel of isolation that you got from Fallout 3. You could spend hours getting lost in the DC ruins, whereas there is nothing like that in New Vegas. I think the fact that they used pretty much exactly the same objects and palettes certainly didn't help.

My biggest gripe is that despite the map being smaller too much of the environment is unaccessible. Also, what the fuck, the Brotherhood of steel abandoned bunker was included in the game up until the first patch which locks it out the game! An area that has one of the few skill books in it!

Fallout New Vegas made me appreciate how much work Bethesda put into Fallout3 when they purchased the franchise from Obsidian. I just wish that part of the sale hadn't included the option for Obsidian to make a final Fallout stand alone.

I'll be trading it in.

Even though the map is smaller, I still feel like there's loads more to do.

The BoS bunker is locked until you get the DLC.... so if you wanna hang on to it for a year for them all to come out on ps3, you'd be able to enter it ;)

The DLC doesn't sound too impressive from what I've read. I'll be trading the book and game in for Killzone3.

I'm gonna hang on to it. I still haven't completed the main quest on it yet. Want to wait to see if the dlc comes out on ps3, want the damn platinum too. Can't have a platinum on Fo3 and not have on on NV can I???

I've completed the main quest. Fairly disappointing stuff to be honest. Yeah I've got a 100% Trophies on Fallout3 as well, but I enjoyed collecting them, its the not same on FNV.

NV isn't as good, but some of the ideas are an improvement.

I'd like to see a really new Fallout now though, not just a re-hash of the engine used for Oblivion.

Something sparkly.

I like alot of the extra's in FNV but I don't like the new perks system - one every other level - and I don't like the setting.

I trust Bethesda will bring the sparke back now that the next Fallout game will be entirely their product as Fallout3 was.

Sminky, is Mirror's Edge a good game at all? I've thought about buying it in the past but the fact that you can buy it for such a low price has made me think there is a major flaw with the game, which is strange as the reviews seemed mainly positive.
