Its really funny beating Barza-Madrid abusers with this team...without using any CPU (AI) assisted tactics enabled...just yourself alone.

What is your antidote???

I usually use a 4/4/2 formation and man mark their supermen. Works well, you just need to know when to pressure them and like you said, funnel them to where you want them to go rather than chase them down. If you start chasing you are DEAD! and like you said they are stoppable, but they will get through at times, they are afterall great players but the key is to take them out of their comfort spots and play your game rather than you playing theirs.

i use 442 with england and double man mark ronaldo, messi, kaka,henry, basically whoever is playing up front on the sides, it works really well when I use Barry as a LMF putting him right in front of ashley cole, their guy rarely gets a touch.

My main tactic is to double mark Ronaldo/Messi cause they're not able to play any other guy on the pitch. Then I usually launch some deadly counters, 3:0 until the break, they're calling me cheater, scoring 3 OG's and match is cancelled due to improper conduct.

Good old soccer, possession, passes, and 1 - 2 passings.
Defense against the superman; to predict his next move,
90% just tackle him, just need to know *when* and always have a second defender to oppose resistance.

its all about how you defend against them, the team is secondary. if their philosophy is pass to their super men and just run it with them, then i would try and push their movement to the wings whilst my second defender closes down his space. by closing down his space with two men, it restricts him to either cross (better cross or him running to the front of the goal!!) or run it inside. this is where you have to predict what he will do, once you do, tackle!! if they get the ball on the wing and then run it inside instantly, i sit back predicting where he will run and meet him at the crossroads. much of my defending is about sitting back most of the time and seeing what he will do and counter it.

i find the best guys will always exploit your defences by putting in through balls (what i usually do) and this is something very difficult to defend against because its actually the AI who make these silly mistakes. to minimise this, have at least 3 CB cause SB always seem to find themselves in attacking mood and once the counter attack begins, you're screwed.

You just need to predict and react when you play against Barca/Madrid. The more game you play against them (which is all the time, haha) The better your reflex and reaction will be.

Don't over run also, Good opponent will punish you everytime he gets away. Little mistakes also could kill you, like miss pass while building your attack from the back or counter attack right after corner kick. Most of the time i could predict their attack and steal the ball right back but i've play with 600+ rated opponent, and some of them always instantly gets a goal (it's like they know how to move their man when pressure gets there, crazy)

I've had success with 4-4-2
double tight mark Ronaldo/Messi with my SB+DMF.
I also convert one of the SB into CB instead (so the dude won't go up since he sucks)
and also i've set my tactic to "total defense" once the attack starts, that way the others will come back to their half field to help out.

Real and Barca are both tough to play against but I found that Real is harder out of the two. Ronaldo crazy kick power is too much sometimes, not to mention Kaka and Higuain.

Only 4% of my matches I play against similar teams. And not once have I met a better player than me eventhough i lose quite often simple cause of the button lag and fast players that fly by 4 defenders to score an easy goal.
I always play as Nigeria and I think I manage pretty well against Barca, Madrid, Spain, Brazil and England. But boy do I hate a lamer that has to watch his speed goal for 4 replays with his superteam.

I've started using a left midfield player deep and tightly marking Messi/Ronaldo. Its been working ok but if the player is good they will still find a way to ALWAYS score with them!

Also the short free kick tapped to Ronaldo and smashed into my top corner EVERY time is getting a little boring!

Still having good fun playing online though! It beats playing the possession whoreing unproductive computer all the time!

The online Barca and Real MAdrid lamers are ridiculous.
So I play as Nigeria but noone ever picks a team even or inferior to my team. Its always Spain, Argentina, Barca and Real Madrid. So I decided to take Montenegro in two games but two lamers still hold on their Barca and Real Madrid. I thought since i picked such a bad team that the opponent would pick another team.

LOL against Real lamer i equalized in the 85 minute on a beautiful counterattack and long shot by Jormac. It felt so good since i dominated the whole game but was 0-1 down.

Against Barca i came in front after 3 minutes after a high arc free kick close to the keeper where i headed it in. But Barca lamer went in front in the 80 minute after I had button lag and couldnt stop Messi twice as fast as my defenders. Then the guy decided to watch all the replays of the goal and then pass ball around in defence.

I manged to get the ball the 88 minute and scored 3 own goals since the lamer was so arrogant and unfair.

In 80 games i have played against may be 2 decent players the rest were Barca and Madrid runnerlamers. And nobody has impressed me all in this game expect that I find my self way better which has surprised me.
I thought i was decent but compared to others online I will consider myself as good.

Messi running around like a headless chicken online is boring at least offline you are challenged to play against an opponent who knows how football is played and not how PES 2010 is exploited.



The problem for me is that with Nigeria I have to built up the play in order to attack which leaves me extremely vulnerable to couterattacks from Barca and Argentina lamers. They just sit and wait to play a ball at Messi. In real life Argentina would never play mainly on counterattack against Nigeria. May be i should exploit my 4-3-3 but it ruins the fun and my way of playing.

I reccommend to play as Nigeria. Good defence and pressure. Good speed. Good crosses and headers. The midfielders are too slow in order to manage too many long rangers. Counterattack they are deadly since you have two wing forwards and Martins CF. Ageleni is deadly on headers.
Early crosses often gives a scoring opportunity.

As above said, double mark the opponent's key player and pay attention and don't rush to steal the ball or he will get past you.
Also, build your attack without rushing.

I play with Arsenal and now I'm proud to say I win most of the Real-Barça lamers.

But I still have problems against Brazil, that team has too many fast players (Pato, Robinho, Kaká) and I really suffer against them.

You should have taken a team like Austria. and a superdefensive 5-4-1 only to counterattack. That way even with a 0-0 draw he would lose ranking points. Some people take online too seriously. What is the point of "runwinning" any noob can do that.

PES needs to be readjusted so that the speed factor is diminished only Messi can dribble in real life but not always.

I'm having fun playing with England and tearing up these motherfckers ass. IMO, England has the best formation to beat these super teams. Perfect defenders, great midfielders and great attackers. I usually take out Walcott and bring in Beckham and viola.

Im having fun online by picking useless teams.

Too funny. I picked Austria against a Juve guy. Score on a high arc free kick on my huge CF. I setup the whole team for defense, counterattack, pressure and defensive mind (blue on attack mindness). I had a couple of chances but boy where my forwards slow couldnt tap sprint button for more than 2 times before there were 2 defenders around me.

I thnking about setting up France as supersupersuperdefensive 5-4-1 and just sit back and suddenly attack like a snake - fast and deadly.

I have been playing a handfull of games as Uzbekistan. To no surprise people still hold on to their Brazil, Barca and Real which i find hilarious. I won, drew and lost one.
In the game I lost Brazil was sitting back for the last 30 minutes while i had all possesion what a noob. On every attack he had he gave me the message: "impressive". The only thing that amazed me was that he still picked Brazil against the mighty Uzbekistan. Haha what an idiot.
