It would be cool, but I`ve only seen that you can change players number. Thats all. More editing can be done only to manager, like changing his appearance at any time in season.

I'm guessing it's because you don't want to sign a 16yr old Frank Lampard, who looks 35?

:D So these new 16 year old Frank Lampard`s and Steven Gerrard`s look exactly the same as the old ones?? I thought the idea of bringing them as new young players with exact same names was already very unrealistic, but if they even look the same, then...

I don't want to sign an English kid named 'Jarquecion' or whatever. Whilst realism is usually squashed by the AI's transfers, being able to edit names/appearances doesn't seem like big deal. I don't see how it would harm the game at all.

Well yeah, there's that too of course. I mean, the youth players in Fifa's career mode all have realistic names, so I'm not sure why PES can't do that.

on the topic of youth players and your wide array of knowledge for this game :) was wondering, I know how to sign players from my youth team Barcelona B 'GRIMALDO' 'HALILOVIC'. But do you know how to put players into your youth team so they can get more games or if you've just signed a 16 year old and want him to play games ? TY.

So.... if you're playing as Barca you can promote players from their 'B' team, they're not classed as separete teams?
I don't know about give players more game time, but you can always send them out on loan.

EDIT: I wouldn't say I have a "wide array of knowledge".... I just wing it most of the time tbh ;).

I'm almost sure the B teams don't have connections ingame to the A Team (quite a good pun right here hey?). It would take a lot of more coding for just a few teams, and changing the ML completely if you moved from diferent teams. Just my two cents.

You do can edit players. Go to Edit Mode and off you go. Everything can be changed, and those changes which doesn't matter to the ML development (this is, everything apart age, nationality, stats, abilities, etc) will be visible in the ML save.

yeah mate you just sign them once a wage is agreed, no transfer fee and not separate teams, they're barca's real youth team so makes sense like madrid's too. Iv'e had 4 or 5 young reserves loan listed since the start and now in december second season and not one loan bid??? LOL i would beg to differ.

just to clarify, yes they are seperate teams but if i click on my youth team it loads Barcelona B whereas if you was to click on your youth team as bolton i imagine then you would get a load of players you don't recognize?
So i can sign halilovic once his wages are sorted but you would have to sign him for a fee.....

Yeah. It'd be good if they were mostly English, but no.

That makes sense

Indeed it does.. which is very odd indeed since this is Konami. I'm pretty sure Fifa treats them as separate teams in career mode (in which I actually signed Halihovic for Bolton).

exactly makes sense. But now the question is do i sign other young talent to put back into the youth team and replace what i'm taking out 'haven't seen an option yet' or more than likely Barcelona B will probably sign players on a consistent basis and i can dip in whenever i fancy and not have to worry about it too much which would be cool.

So you can relegate players, so to say? If so, it is a good option, instead of loaning them. The drawback is no payment, but it's not for 500k that you're gonna miss anything.

The Youth Team is updated on the start of the season. The slots of players that were signed will be filled with regens, mostly from the country which league you're playing. In your case they would mostly be spanish.

The thing is: I'm not sure, because your Youth Team is an actual team, with a manager (which I suppose you have nothing to do with?) that plays them, that it will include regen players. Maybe as signings?

Just one more question: your Youth Team shows only Barca B players, or also Barca B players?

But would they buy higher rated older player's to actually strengthen their team or konami has somehow imputted them to solely buy under 18's as they are classed as Barca's youth team?

I would say the last option, it makes sense. But as Ali said, if it makes sense it probably isn't there. I would vouch for a YES on the second option

I don't think you can relegate or place players back or into your youth team but i haven't looked properly. Yes my youth team consists of 29 players and they're a mix of real B players and populated ones, ortola, IE, bagnack, patri, samper, bicho, adama traore, roman, dongou, ondoa, suarez, diagne, costa, lucas, juste, calvet, gumbau, kaptoum, babunski, camara, rolon, campins, godswill, CA, byers, dinenno, capello, bogoslavenu, suree sukha, minus halilovic and grimaldo their actually is a mix of the real player's and ones signed as byers is scottish and not in the real youth team so yes each transfer or season they populate the team.
