vs Estoril, 30/01/2016

- Estoril scores the first
- Aboubakar levels it
- Danilo heads it in, Layun grabs his 2nd assist
- Ridiculous miss from Aboubakar
- André André dissipates any doubts

Finally a good display. The best in months, and in a difficult ground (may as well be considered the portuguese Brittania). Vertical football, plenty of players in the 18-yard box, incisive counter attacks while remaining calm. First half was everything I wanted.

In the second 45 minutes there were two different stories. One in the first 20 when Estoril had the ball but never caused much trouble with it. We'd pressure steadily on the half-way line, and they'd pass it around unable to breach our defence. The final part was of complete control from us, more chances ensued, another goal went in, and 3 more points. Looking forward to the next match, theis could by a real turning point in the team.

As for the tactical approach. 4-4-2 with plenty of freedom for changes, but it truly was a 4-4-2 (noticeable between the 45-70 min marks). Defensively... oh boy. I have never centre backs as bad as these in Porto. We need better players, there isn't a way around it. Tactics won't solve this one.
