Roy Makaay to Bayern Munich

It is perfect now.
The dutch top scorer of the world's strongest League just signed a four year contract several hours ago.
He did cost the Bavarians something between 16 and 18 Mio € what is, what i think, a fair price for a top scorer who is not the youngest anymore. After Beckham to Real, Ronaldinho to Barcelona, Pauleta to PSG i think this is one of the most important transfers this season.
I'm looking forward to this years CL .
Let's hope he is worth the money (but with his 29 goals in la Liga this shouldn't be the problem)

How old is Roy? I am well surprised that no Prem clubs were in on the act. No disrespect to Bayern but I would have gone ot FC Koln first!!!!

Yeah i think Koln would've been the best choice ^^
anyways, Makaay is 28, when the contract is over 32 (33 maybe) so he is in his best years right now, hope he shows it.

Tuesday (well today) there is a friendly against Newcastle, he won't be there unfortunately as it is too early

Good luck to you and Roy. He is a quality player and should do well in Germany. As long as he can cope with the physical side of things. This is FC Koln's 1st season in the Premiership in a while isn't it?

No actually they were up 2 years ago and went down to the 2nd Bundesliga immediately then they played one hell of a season in the 2nd division and now they're up again.
