I wish to use a personalised Avatar, not one of the standard Blue background pics made availabe to use now. If I've not made it clear, the pic/ avatar which would be,
<<< there, under my username.

I've yet to discover how to do this. I presume it's something to do with your account and how long you've a member, total credits and so forth.
If it's not any help would be appreciated.

I think you need a certain amount of posts to get a personalised avatar. Might be 10, not sure though.

You must have at least ten posts and can then use an image with a maximum pixel size of 120x120 and size of 20,000 bytes.

Maybe make a sticky saying this and the same for signatures? Just to stop the endless threads on this topic. Unless of course there is one already that's being ignored.

Sorry, I hate to be the dumb guy who just doesn´t get it, but I just don´t already 20 posts and I´m seeing the option to use a customised avatar... help, anyone?

Where it should be;

Go to your profile.

Click Edit Avatar.

You should see the usual team crests and logos.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

It should allow you to select Custom Avatar (see the pic below).

Thanks man, but nothing, I´m getting nothing under the sites logos, don´t I´m quite clueless.

Yeah same here, I have 20 something posts and 1 it still says that I'm a "newbie" and it won't let me put a custom avatar...

Well clearly bumping all the threads which have some relevance to your post which asks the same question will increase your post count in ordered to find out. I think its 50 I'm not sure. Just keep trying after every post, all i can really say.
