PES 2012 Master League -how to??

Hi guys and experts out there,
Will be grateful if someone can advise on how to

1.change the ball in the Master League.
2.how to adjust the colored bar (the one appearing next to the preset tactics icon) during gameplay. Believe the colored bar is meant to adjust the players' mentality.

I don't think you can change the bal in ML. As for the coloured bar, I presume you mean to manually adjust your players attacking/defensive mentality. That is in the 'Tactical Assistance' section under the Game Plan option, here you can change any auto tactic on or off. The one you want is the 'Change Atk/Def Levels'. I'm not sure how to adjust it in game, I tend to leave mine to auto change.

Yes it is worth understanding how to manually use the team 'mentality' option during a match. I use it a lot especially up against the big clubs. For example as Australia in the world cup playing Germany - I set my team mentality to almost full defensive (one or two blue levels) but at any set piece (especially a cOrner) I will bump it up to full attack and make use of the situation. The other time I use it is if in ML I'm playing at home against a smaller club, I will start the match with all guns blazing (mentality on all out attack) and try to score early - then I drop my mentality back a bit and sit on the ball. Obviously all of this is enhanced by changing formations and pre-set tactics.

I would recommend giving it a go - adds a lot more depth to a long ML campaign

Steve, it is possible to change the ball in the Master League. I managed to do that yesterday. I just cannot get used to the brown ball for the Championship teams. When there is a shadow you can't actually see the ball. Fortunately I managed to select another ball with white shade.The mode is actually hidden somewhere in the Edit section, got something to do with the League or something. You can actually choose the ball. I am not sure whether it has anything to do with my unlocking everything.

Good shout. I have to say the ball doesn't bother me that much. Nice to know the option is there though.
