A decent win tonight against an average side. I think people have been blind sided by the Swansea footballing ethos because they've over achieved this season. The score flattered them tonight, it should have been 5-0 with their defending often comically bad. Rodgers substitutions were equally so, he handed the game on a plate to us.
As good a win as it was, for confidence alone, the Wigan result has probably done for us. I think they'll survive with their run in, ours may only yield another 5 points if I'm being optimistic. Oh well. Blinding goal by Buzz tonight, made up for his shit passing. Diakite has turned me around (fnar) with his performances, another great game I hope if we survive we can afford him. I doubt it somehow. |

A shot at at stumbling Tottenham this weekend I just noticed. Maybe another upset in the making.

Well if we lose I think it's fair to say we're relegated when you look at our remaining fixtures ... barring miracles elsewhere.

Great win tarnished by scandalous and contemptible officiating. Nothing irks fans more than inconsistent decision making. Two bookings for Adel, fair enough by the letter of the law he has to go but by the letter of the law where were the bookings for Parker? Fouled a player from behind with a nasty tackle. No booking. Dived, Clattenburg told him 'you dived'. No booking. Yet he brandished yellow cards for Taarabt, Zamora and Hill for minor offences. We do not want to see that repugnant cunt at Lotus Road again.
I called it last week. We would beat Tottenham. I still feel we will draw with Stoke and I still feel we will survive on goal difference. Come on you Super Hoops aaaaaah! |

Why do QPR seem to get a player sent off every game?

Red card today wasn't undeserved but it was harsh. Discipline has been something of an issue this season, but with players like Cisse, Barton and Taarabt it's not surprising.

All in all, everything went our way today. It was a truly shocking match though, Stoke really are a ghastly football team, sorry Nath. Four strikers on the pitch from kick off and none of them used to good effect, bar Crouch. Walters was lost in midfield, Ricardo Fuller had a game to forget on the left and Cameron Jerome was farcically bad on the right after missing a decent opportunity in the first five minutes.
That said we were dreadful. Zamora and Onohua were pathetic today. I was utterly disgusted particularly with Zamora, as were the fans around me. "Bobby for fuck sake! Put some effort in you cunt!" We were chanting Cisse's name prior to half time and it wasn't a surprise when he came on early second half. Any idiot could see we had to go for it. The goal, a routine tap in from a flick on lifted the fucking roof off the Ellersie Road stand. I fell into the row behind! ![]() Whilst I appreciated and understood the optimistism of the fans at the end, especially given West Brom coming back to nick a draw at Bolton ... the fans running on the pitch with relegation far from secured ( ), you fucking idiots. That is the bloody kiss of death. They'll feel right planks if Bolton win away to Stoke next Sunday. |

Wouldn't say Crouch was used well to be honest. He's pointless without wingers.
Fuller's not a left-winger, Walters is out of sorts and Jerome is one of the worst footballers I've had the mis-fortune of watching. And in any case, without anyone to actually give them the service. Meh, this season was destined to slide into nothing after the Valencia and Liverpool FA Cup results. Leagues been a bit crap throughout - hopefully carrying through into the Bolton game where they turn us over. ![]()

![]() I was sceptical, but on reflection, Park could be a massive signing for us. A difference maker between clear safety and relegation fodder. |

Does Park make it 6 signings by Hughes already?
How do you see Hughes using the 'lil fella this coming season?

I just hope he doesn't plonk him on the wing at the expense of Mackie. Jamie hasn't the best technique but has raw pace and power, something we need when Cisse is getting himself sent off. |

Definite lean towards graft over craft though.
Just don't abuse Park. He deserves better ![]()
