I suppose I'd go for Scholes, Giggs and Bellamy at this moment in time. If Beckham's selected, I'm not watching...not that I was gonna watch anyway, but if Beckham's chosen, I won't be watching on principle, rather than because watching paint dry is more interesting than Olympics football.

Funny, as I know you're the only person that would think that. The night when he came on against Germany is WC 2010 was so emotional and before you say it it wasn't because England lost and were denied a goal that crossed the line, it was because of the retirement of Heskey.

I read that Giggs and Bellamy will be going, and Pearce told Becks that he wants to bring defensive cover as his final over-23yr old.

Richards getting picked as he misses the start of the season.

Glad to see Beckham isn't getting picked. Overhyped celebrity. It kills me inside when I hear him talked of as a football legend, and a national hero. For me, the Beckham cult empitomises so much of what is wrong with football in this country.
