I feel bad for these girls, the wool is pulled so far over their eyes. They have no idea how insulated they are from the world and taught to hate their southern counterparts. Very sad.

call me crazy but with the advent of baselayers etc in the summer tournaments like world cups they should consider singlets and tanktops for uniforms and kits. I think Cameroon was on the ball when they did it back in 02.

Our NBC sports channel (odd channel with odd sports such as the tour de france) will be showing a series called Dream On which provides a video chronicle of Wembley FC. It looks good to me; did it show over there already? Since Budweiser sponsors them it looks like they may have paid for the production as well since I think i saw a budweiser copyright on the corner of the video. Currently a trailer when I visit Goal.com.

I didn't pick up on this important piece of information until today.

Al Jazeera bought the U.S. rights for La Liga, Ligue Un, and Serie A. So no more Serie A on fox soccer channel and no more La Liga on golTV in this country.

Here is the kicker - most regions do not carry Al Jazeera because of redneck fears that it will be used bt al qaeda to brainwash us . Those fears have been subsiding but still not offered across the nation.

Fox Soccer's presentation of Serie A was so bad, the commentators made the match so boring. I wish I had a video sample to share - the voices of the sportscasters alone would show my point. However, I would like to see some Serie A

So golTV will likely pick up their treatment of Bundesliga to compensate but that channel is just horrible.

It will be all EPL for me this season, as it mostly is anyway, sprinkled in with Champions League. But all the CL matches are during work hours so I rarely watch those.
