Can anyone recommend any good, chilled out instrumentals? Putting a playlist together.

not sure if you mean shoegazing chilled or groovy chilled. check out the Beastie Boys "The In Sound From Way Out" if the latter (all instro album) Maybe the band, Luna, as well. Can't think if they have any instrumentals off the Penthouse album but I know they do have have one on Bewitched.

Probably too dreary or repetitive for you but Aphex Twin's Stone in Focus is lovely.

In terms of guitar-based stuff, Electric Wizard's Mountains of Mars (see my post on the previous page) might fit your criteria perhaps? It is classed as stoner metal. Maritime by Isis (post-metal/post-rock) is certainly relaxing.

Might be worth trying one or two others from my first post - particularly Altered Course by Isis. I doubt Rosetta's Sol, the Year of No Light and Isis' Constructed Towers (sludge metal) will fit your requirements as they're heavier.

The one I've posted at the start of page (Duke Pearson's After the Rain) is a jazz track so again, might work with the tempo.

I always thought Luna's Rendevous as one of those cigar smoking, sun going down albums. not instrumental but what I used to listen while smoking a Nicaraguan (best we can get). Great wine album as well.
