Is there going to be a new update for the curreent transfer window?

Like the title says, when the transfer window is closed will Konami release a new update or are they just going to be focusing on 2013 now?

Very, very unlikely since the team are focused on PES 2013. DLC's and patches have finished IMO since they've never updated the transfers in the summer window for the previous games. Tbh, like last time they may even release PES 2013 and not put the transfers in

Nah, there won't be an 'official' data update. Konami will be concentrating fully on their upcoming release now, for sure.

Somebody in the PES community may bring out a Summer 2012 option file containing updated squads etc. for PES2012 though.

It might be a good idea to keep an eye on the 'PES 2012 Editing and Option Files' section over the coming months to see whether somebody is working on for PES2012, although I'm guessing the majority of members here will be getting PES2013 when it comes out

To be honest I was hoping for an update cos I'm done editing this game. It'll just stay as it is then. I might stick Jordi in the Barca team though.

so does this mean that we should forget pes2012 and start thinking about 2013? SAD...I thought Konami will do a final DLC before 2013....

nevermind them focusing on 2013; they want you to focus on 2013. what a horrible business idea it would be to push out a roster update weeks before releasing a new product that has.....roster updates. Let's think a little.

and expect to wait 9 weeks after purchase before Konami releases the first Pes2013 roster update.

Alas, its the same every year, you'd think considering when its released, the summer transfers being correct would be a bare minimum.
