Depends where you go. Dale seems to have a pretty good rate there. Depends on the tatt & the artist. Also can depend on how you pay. For bigger work, it's often cheaper to pay by the hour.

I love the Japanese style tattoos, but it's not something I'd have myself. More of a flames/smoke and skulls kinda guy.

Got confirmation today that I'm getting a £1k bonus for the 6 months work last year... there's a really good ink place in Cheshire so I'm going to use that and book in for my sleeves. Think there's a 6 week waiting list just for the consultation though. Waited this long, so I guess another few weeks won't kill me...

Day one of the Tattoo Tea party was very interesting. Lots of attractive, half naked, tattooed women. Fick heaven, basically

Got my other two cats names on the inside of my right wrist done next to my original one while one guy had 15 minutes spare and am booked in for a tatt today at noon. Wont see the final design until I get there at about 11am...

Didn't have much battery on my phone yesterday, but am going today with a fully charged spare, so I should be able to get some pics.

Day two was even better, especially as I eventually got a design done that I've been thinking about for nearly 12 months. Was late sitting as the guy before me overran, so I didn't start until 3ish and the design wasn't done until gone 7pm. It has been photographed by Tattoo Revolution magazine so it'll be interesting to see if it make the cut for the mag!

Bit sore at the moment as the design goes into the crook of my elbow and up to just short of the armpit. The armpit area is one I didn't expect to be that sensitive.

Pleased with the outcome though. Didn't get any photo's though. Was lying on my back for about three and a half hours for the four, so had a very limited view...

Waiting to see if the pic shows up on tattoo tv or in the mag first... if not I'll have to get my own pic as the ones my other half took on her phone were not of the completed piece. Not easy considering where it is!

And yes, cats. I had my cats name done about 10 years ago after living up to a promise I made years prior to that. The first pussy I controlled would have its name tattooed upon my fair skin. Problem was it was a cat & not a woman. Win some...

Still healing, so the redness will fade and the edges will get clearer. Very little plasma loss on this one too which I'm happy about as it should heal quicker.

I have arguably the two shittest tattoos in the history of everdom. Me and a few of the workers out in Maga all got 'YOLO' done when we were wasted and I made a bet that I'd get chelsea on my arse if we won the CL.

I regret both of them!

So, did you get the Chelsea badge, CFC, or just Chelsea... the latter could prove problematic when trying to convince a new girlfriend that it's just your football club and not an ex.

But yes, they sound truly terrible. But hey, it's still an experience.

New tattoo parlour has opened in the tiny and obscure town in which I live. Intending to get myself over there this weekend with the intent of getting a small 'trial' piece done. Not sure what yet though.

Only danger is that if they are any good that I can see my remaining un-inked skin being quickly filled...

Been to see the tattooist today about the sleeve design for my right arm. Hopefully we can get the design finalised pretty quickly as his ideas matched mine bang on.
