DUBAI - In a sensational turn of events, Welsh international Gareth Bale surprises many and has signed for PAO FC for a mere £3m. Many experts have agreed that it's is a remarkably low amount for someone of Bale's caliber. Long time admirer and former manager of the wizard winger, Harry Redknapp described the deal as a coup for the club. "It's unbelievable really. For a player like him [Bale], £15 million should be the minimum amount. Good job on his club's part. Triffic".

Speaking to the Al-Nahyan press, owner Sheikh Maktoum couldn't hide his excitement of his club's newest signing. "The board decided to put in an initial bid of £3 million and of course were prepared to pay more if we had to. However we didn't expect to sign Gareth for just this amount. We are very happy".

DUBAI - Just a few hours after agreeing to terms with Gareth Bale, PAO FC have announced their transfer for centre-back John Terry. The England defender who most famously played for Chelsea FC for 10 years, is ready to travel to Dubai to seal the deal. Club manager Héctor Raúl Cúper insists that John Terry playing for the team will enhance their rapidly-growing reputation.

The wily manager said "Everyone around the football world knows John [Terry]. So if he decides to join us, we can attract a lot of other high quality players. Terry himself is a fantastic individual and I am looking forward to working with him"

DUBAI - Yet another big-name signing for the Dubai-based club. Ivory Coast international Yaya Touré becomes the latest addition for the team. Yaya Touré is a combative midfielder who played for big clubs like FC Barcelona and Manchester City throughout his career and is relishing a new challenge. While vacationing in the Middle East, Yaya Touré has already made his signing official.

In a press-conference held exclusively by the Al-Nahyan press, Touré speaks of his ambitions with the club.

Pepe Reina signs in record-smashing deal

Pepe Reina set to be no.1 option between sticks

DUBAI - Spanish keeper Pepe Reina inks a 3-year deal with the Arab giants. After lengthy negotiations with other clubs in the league, the shot-stopper decided to join PAO FC as his quest for a first league title continues. The deal reported to be in the fee of ₤15 million, making him the club's most highest paid player. Also, he is only behind compatriot David de Gea as the league's second most expensive goalkeeper. The 29-year old will be given his traditional jersey number 1.



In an exclusive press conference for the Al-Nahyan press, Pepe [Reina] says he looks forward to a new chapter in his life. "I was with Liverpool [FC] for 7 good years. The bond I share with the fans is something special. But I reviewed the project here and they are very ambitious. I am excited to see what happens next season"



Manager Héctor Raúl Cúper was delighted at the club signing a world-class custodian, and he believes Pepe Reina will be a success despite the huge transfer tag.
