Stop being a fettered cunt, nothing can quell my faggotry. My god I felt like shedding a tear at the end. I better go compose myself

I have visions of a short, aged man sporting a tired raincoat and some grubby jogging bottoms...

As far as im concerned, film makers have the unenviable task of finalizing a trilogy and with what Nolan produced in TDKR was brilliant. What i took from the trilogy was Bruce Wayne's conflict with being the Batman and the choice of story arcs Nolan chose to tell this story to complete his vision IMO was fitting and correct for the final film.
No doubt the comparisons with TDK will persist but being the second film, it felt like Nolan had more to work with in developing his vision of Batman and by having Batman's much more recognized adversary in the Joker and the consequent stellar performance by Heath have cemented TDK as an instant classic. Im always pessimistic about the final installations of trilogies and TDKR did it so well that im going far to say its my favourite out of the three, by the slightest margins.

As good as the Dark Knight is, I still rate Batman Begins as the better of those two. Its easy to forget about Batman Begins because of Heath Ledgers performance as the Joker, but the story arc from the 1st to the 3rd is superb as is the journey of Bruce Wayne and of course the League of Shadows.
The Dark Knight is a film capable of standing on its own, although I still firmly believe that using Two face was unwarranted but you have to give props to Nolan, considering a trilogy wasn't planned from the onset, its a well constructed series. |

Action, drama, romance, and a bit of Batman.
