Chin up Gollan, there was a lot of talk about Abramovich investing in Deportivo La Coruna a few months ago, although that's never happened.

Never really liked Hapoel Tel Aviv since the UEFA Cup 2002

Well if you read what i wrote, then it doesn't really seem so bizarre.

You can, from the point at which Abromovich took over onwards, only be proud of you performances, not your club as they have contributed little towards your current state.

Well ok obviously they have, but it's not just your success that has changed since his arrival, you're near enough a completely different club. A renaissance brought about solely by his money.

Surely at the very least you can admit that you'd feel happier knowing that Chelsea had earned this status through good management, financial planning and sound acquisitions in the normal sense of the game, rather than having it bestowed upon you.

Ironically, that's probably the only moment in history (2002) beating you, Parma, Locomotiv Moscow and losing to Milan 1-0 on the away leg....

Where I actually could stand them. Bastardos.

Perhaps if some of our players didn't go all Dennis Bergkamp on us we'd have done better in the first leg!

Wasn't there a massive ship carrying oil what crashed off the coast of La Coruna last year? Maybe he hoped some might have been found at the Riazor (their ground). But it may have been unrelated.

I'd imagine that's a bit of a long shot.
