PS2 - changing difficulty during ML

i am posting to hopefully find out whether you can change the game level difficulty while in a current master league.


i ahve started a ML with arsenal and am doing very well, easily thrashing every team i play against. my difficulty is regular but would like to change it to professional without having to start a new master league off again from the beginning.

if anybody knows, feel free to post your views in this thread.
