Yes. They may not always play attractive football, but that's not what professional football is about. It's about winning, and they keep fighting until they do. However, I would respect them more if their achievements came more "naturally" and not from the wallet of a billionaire.

I remember Lampard starting a good number of games in Euro 2004.

He scored a couple of vital goals too.

What are you on about mate? Lampard was class in Euro 2004, yeah, but he was playing for Chelsea at the time. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, I'm not sure.

Chelsea were a million miles away from the title pre-Abramovic, and there is no way they would be where they are without the money backing them.

However, Ranieiri had exactly the same resources but couldn't do it. Mourinho has them playing effective football, and until this season, had moulded an almost unbeatable team together. There is talk of Mourinho getting the sack, and this season is supposed to have been a "disaster" for them, but they are still only 4 points off the top.

The football isn't attractive, but as a fan I'd take the buzz of winning over playing beautiful football like Arsenal but stuttering. I don't like watching them, but yes, I do respect there achievements.

I do not respect them as a club however. They have always been a small club with knobhead fans - Spurs with money, if you like.

I do respect Liverpool's achievements though, mainly because they earned what they've won. Same goes for most clubs, but Chelsea are not included.
I completely agree with you Hunter, mate.

Are you guys telling me that Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal are poor? C'mon...
I don't like Chelsea nor Mourinho, but this season I realised how good he is, because with 13/14 players available he managed to be on top and he can still win everything, and you should respect and admire it.
It costs me a lot to say this, but when he was at porto, he won everything and he didn't have the money that he has now at Chelsea, so you should give some credit to the man.
The money that is spent in England is absurd, just to provide you some info, Simão is the better paid guy in Benfica...and do you know how much he gets monthly? approximately 150,000€ (102,443£).
Now, tell me how much does a guy like Fletcher, Zenden, Wright-Phillips or Ferreira earns...

...youth players which they try to lure away from other clubs. They've already tried to buy somewhere near 8 players here in Holland.

Credit goes to Mourinho of course, that is out of question. But as a fan I'd like our titles to be remembered because we beat the opposition with great football and humiliating plays. If we grind out results and win the title, it will only look good on the statistics and it will be forgetting in 2 years. I don't pay to watch that. And certainly not if you pay hundreds of millions on players and can't even play good football if you wanted to. PSV won 2 titles playing atrocious football, which is bad enough, but some journalists applaud it and label it "decent" and "business-like". AZ and Twente are the real champions of this season, playing wonderful football. I'll remember that, if PSV would win again I'd only remember it because of the tension in the last rounds.

I'm confused myself.

I know Lampard was a Chelsea player in 04. I 'thought' he said Lampard wasn't an established international until Mourinho arrived.
