Definetely Armanio from Fiorentina. Devastating left foot, fast and strong plays well with anyone. 5 star!

Yes Armanio's real name is Adriano.
Here is a site with all the correct players names for PES2, all the names will be at the bottom, but beware its a big arse page!

I have never liked Raul on PES2, for the few times that i have bought him, he has always been shit for me although i would have to say he provides the other striker with alot of goals, but doesn't score enough.

Is everyone forgetting Ukraine! I am always ukraine on the game and alot of people recongnise shevchenko as being a great play but people often forget about rebrov. i aint saying he is one of the greatest strikers in the world, but he aint half bad. I feel he is better than diouf.

shevchenko is the best pro evo 2 striker.. quick, deadly in front of goal and can hit free-kicks..

Alot of people say Van Basten, but i haven't found much use in him yet, i hope he gets better as time goes on.

Has anyone tried playing anyone other than a striker up front, eg. Ian Harte, Juninor, Veron. Must say, it works a treat sometimes.

Blue, Van Basten is the king! Wait for his teamwork to go up a bit.
Just give the ball to him near the area and watch them fly in!

Roberto Carlos can be useful up front sometimes.

Re: great strikers

I believe that the striker you need depends on your formation. I use a 4-3-3 and I need a tall guy inside the area. ricardo morales is a good choice for start. generally the best are batistuta and crepo

the striker you need depends on your formation (about master leage). for my formation (4-3-3) r. morales is a good choice for start (really tall, good header, satisfying shot). Generally batistuta and crespo are the best
