And you have the classic Neza team???

Please, try it! I've been working to recreate some of the players from that squad, but you see, I'm not that good at making faces. For example: I took me almost a week to make Sebastian González "Chamagol", and I'm still not completely convinced it looks like him

So please, if you can upload the formula, at least for Mohamed, i'd be extremely happy

About that Necaxa win: Yes, it was rather strange. I was very small at that time, but when I learned that Necaxa won, I remember I was like "What? But... but they tied, right daddy? Why did Necaxa won?" (yes, I was very, very little :P)

And yes, I'm planning to do the "Big Bull" jersey soon enough

Anyway, I'll resume with my pending uniforms now

Regards!

Glad you liked it bro! weird thing is i was planning to use that song for a Necaxa video, but i wasnt sure it would work...so i did the Toros one as a test run, and the damn thing turned out better than the Rayos one, lol. My dad was a HUGE Toros fan back in the day. I did a second video, but youtube blocked the original song, lol (Manicomio Neza 86, if you look for it)...and i been trying to make a Mohamed one, but its hell trying to find new footage >.>

ill go ahead and upload the team. Stats miiight be a lil boosted, hush man, i had it as my "secret team" in 2011 before i found out i could import it, lol. I also want to make sure i can transfer it to PES 2013 (yup, im convinced, ill buy it, specially if i can import teams, will save me almost a year of work, lol). If not, ill try to post the faces, some came out decent looking, i would love to rework them

i WAS planning on making classic mexican teams, i did want Necaxa, Celaya and Toros Neza specially, but so far i only got Toros

and to this day me and my best friend (also Necaxista) insist we would color one of the 3 stars black, for that win, lol...doesnt matter how hardcore i am, i hated that win. Butragueño had such a cinderella story, and i remember Hurtado and Tiba, amazing players. Its a shame that when Michel and Hugo came along they couldnt really contribute to the level Butragueño did (Hugo did score an amazing goal though, but that was it)

If i can find the time, i will definitely give it a shot at creating teh classic players, its just hard to find time right now :p

Always glad to find somebody that appreciates Neza! those guys are my front runners for best story to turn into a movie about soccer, lol

There's a goal from Mohamed i could never find...cant remember against who it was, but it was cross that hit a defender's leg, so the ball went insanely high...and Mohamed was like 13, 14 m from goal, measuring it, and hits it with this insane chilena, was spectacular!

i remember it not winning the goal of the week in Accion and lost to a goal from America that was not even close -_- lol

and i still want to get some of his free kicks, where he would only take one step to shoot, Mohamed was simply amazing

I know what you mean, finding pics from the Toros Neza is very hard already

I remember another goal. Like you, I can't remember which team they played against, all I can remember it was at Neza 86. Anyway, that day I had a hunch: Mohamed used number 11, so, I said to my mother: Today, Mohamed is going to score on the 11th minute!

And he did...

He was like... I mean, he was magic... pure, absolute, MAGIC. I've never seen anyone like him, ever... and you see, today we have Messi, CR7 and many, many others. But for me, they are not even close. I've already seen the best football player ever, and his last name is Mohamed... Antonio "El Turco" Mohamed...

PD: just realized that the name of the youtube account is exacty you nickname, but with the words inverted, I can't believe I didn't realize about that until now... Que pequeño es el mundo!

Regards!

hahah yeah, i had to do that cause they closed my first account, the one that had Ravenwolf

Frickin Uefa banned a Ronaldo video and took down my entire channel, lol, had to rebuild a new one :p

and i agree! that Toros Neza was insane...Mohamed had the best passing ive ever seen, Pony was (along with Raton Zarate) one of the fastest players ive ever seen, Nildelson who didnt even train but scored like crazy...that was a fantastic team you just cant repeat...i dont know if they could get another bunch as crazy as that and actually let them play

man, the good days, lol

Ohh Yes... the Glory days, I'd say...

I agree, I'd say its completely impossible. All the high scoring teams of today's football, like Barsa, Madrid, (and I'd even mention B. Dortmund as one of those ) all of them play like machines. It's not even funny, I mean, watching them play is almost like watching, well, like watching a simulated game in PES. It becomes monotonous "Ohh , Madrid scored a thousand goals again... cool! "

You don't see that with the old Toros Neza. Yes, they scored a ton of goals, but when you watched them, you could feel that they were actually playing a game...

Anyway... I found a very cool video today on youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUi_rgUj8L8

The absolute football masterpiece... T. Neza vs. Atlante in 1996... what a blowout!!! I remember that day... I was soo happy I didn't want to go to sleep I believe my dad wasn't that happy that day... since he is an Atlante fan...

As I watched it, I decided to do this:

Classic Kits:

Atlante 1995-1996 (Mexican 1st Division)

Always liked that jersey. As a matter of fact, I became an Atlante fan after Neza disappeared... I still support them now, but since Neza also returned... well, it's easy to see who I support the most now

@everyone: I'll continue with your requests later tonight! Don't get desperate

Regards!

Glad you liked man! hope molie doesnt mind, but im adding my futbol history lesson here

that Toros Neza team we were talking about is just seriously the greatest movie story that never got done. They would play a style basically abandoning all defense in favior of scoring more goals than they would receive. So it was very common to see their games end up 5-3, 6-4, 4-1, 2-4, 1-3 ...there was always goals!
and the characters themselves...you had Mohamed, the soul of the team, always picked on for being overweight but he was an absolute genius on the field, and the best passes ever. Pony Ruiz, shortest guy in the league, but probably the fastest. Nildeson de Melo, wouldnt train, drank like a horse, but was a goal scoring machine. Arangio, the argentinan rookie. Memo Vasquez, rocket on his foot, great captain. Larios, the 42 year old goalkeeper that should have been retired already but kept on. Miguel Herrera, Osorio, LUSSENHOFF, Saavedra, the defense was part time footballers, part time goons, always entertaining. Lussenhoff in particular, tall lanky guy that was one of the first attacking central defenders i saw back in the day (i was young :p)

i think there was a season where every player scored at least one goal...and probably half the team got a red card at some point during the season, lol. They ended that season with the same amount of goals scored and goals conceded :p

they had wild celebrations as a team...when coach Carlos Reynoso was mad that Mohamed had long hair, THE ENTIRE TEAM came next day shaved bald, just to mess with him. They would come out to teh field with cowboy hats, painted heads, masks...heck, here's some pics:

This was in playoffs, btw :p

Sadly, they did have a Hollywood ending...true to their style of kill or be killed, after drawing 1-1 on the first leg of the Finals vs Chivas in 1997, they lost 6-1 in the return game. Politics and greed basically tore the team apart as owners sold the best players and the coach, Meza, and were never able to recapture the magic

They even brought Bebeto, but he seriously came on a vacation and did nothing

"El Turco" Antonio Mohamed was sold to Monterrey, toiled in some teams and retired. today he is a very successful coach, won the copa Sudamericana with Independiente, today coaches Xoilocuintles de Tijuana, probably the closest ive seen to old school Neza

Enrique Meza went on to be a legend, winning 4 league championships, and a sudamericana as well, with Toluca and Pachuca

Rodrigo "pony" Ruiz plays to this day with Estudiantes tecos. became a legend as well in Santos, winning multiple leagues, one of the best passers to ever play in Mexico

Miguel Herrera currently coaches America, and has been a very succesful coach as well

Memo Vasquez currently coaches Cruz Azul, he won a championship in his debut year as a coach with Pumas

german Arangio retired in 2010 i believe. I heard he was gettinga coaching degree, wouldnt be surprised if he coaches already

Federico Lussenhoff played Cruz Azul and River Plate after Neza, finally retired in 2010. Las i heard was the Director Deportivo at Xerez in Spain

Nildeson de Mello couldnt even be found to play the finals cause he was holed up in a bar. Nationalized in El Salvador, currently retired

Toros Neza came back to the Division de Ascenso a pair of years ago, and is currently playing as Neza FC, in hopes of a return to teh first division. Id love to see Toros back, even if a group like this can never be found again

i leave you with the video, hope you liked this long football story!
