tosser182 has stepped out of the darkness into slightly less darkness

Real Life vs PES

Real life - Alternating league fixtures - occasionally doubled up. Most matches played during day.
PES - Bizarre sequences of up to 4 home or away games in succession. Most matches played at the dead of night.

Real Life - Two cup competitions involving at least 4 tiers of teams with home or away draws.
PES - One cup competition with all matches played at neutral venues.

Real life - Community Shield played during the day.
PES - Community Shield played at night.

Real life - Small teams play in small stadiums often with more intense atmospheres.
PES - Small teams play in colloseum sized stadiums with identical atmosphere to any others (none)

Real life - Opposition plays its strongest team
PES - Opposition plays some of its best players, inexplicably leaves some world class players out at the expense of youth players, and plays half of them out of position.

Real life - Opposition is losing a vital match so throws everyone forward and ups the tempo.
PES - Opposition continues to play slow boring possession based football with everyone behind the ball.

Real life - Opposition needs to win to stay in the league or reverse an aggregate score. They approach the match with high intensity and a gung ho approach
PES - Opposition continues to play slow boring possession based football with everyone behind the ball.

Is any of this still acceptable after around 30 years of football games? Thoughts?

Real life - players can play 2 matches in a week at full fitness.
PES - players are knackered after 1 match.

Real life - after an international fixture, players are usually fit for the next league match.
PES - after an international fixture, players are still struggling for full fitness 2 weeks later (if playing 2 matches a week).

Real life - international matches not scheduled before important mid week continental matches.
PES - opposite of above.

And to answer your question - no, none of this is acceptable.
