You hit the nail on the head, not everyone is designed too or wants to go to Uni, my brother went for 4 years doing IT and he hated it, he got a job after and only lasted 12 months as he hated it so much, I never went to college and am now 35, I have had only 3 real jobs in my life the first for 3 years, the second in Dell which lasted 13 years and was very successful for me, I got to go on a few business trips and was very well paid now I am working for Tesco for the last year and a half and am being trained as a manager which should be completed in the next 3-6 months, I know I am not living the dream but I am making a go at it, hard work and dedication goes a long way and if your brother can get some drive in his life and accept that not everything is handed up on a plate but rather earned then there will be no fear of him, he is still young though and with all the doom and gloom in the world its hard to get motivated.
