Referee improvement required

PES is a great game, even for the "older" generation...
There many good and excellent features implemented, and a few things might deserve improvements...

Besides all the many wishes and contributiones here from other forum threads, one major thing I would like to have improved, is the referee AI and the rulings, especially the "offside" decisions and the currently not working handling of "passive offside"
Also, too many times some rough tacklings are "permitted", and on other occasions -even in the same match- a clear "ball-playing" will be punished.

I must admit not to play everday or so, but a better referee performance would imho be another major improvement.
btw: and do not forget the new rules for -in-tournament yellow cards, the FIFA might establish after the EURO 2012...

Refs have always been poor on pro. Its the least of its worries to be honest.

I personally hate how players are so static when they are competing for a header. No jostling or anything

behehe, i remember back in PES6 the opposition would kick my legs while trying to score in their penalty box and the ref would do nothing; if i dared go near them while defending mine though.... D:

i think they set the refs to favor the opposition on higher difficulty settings, it's a videogame not a sim so that kind of artificial difficulty is fairly common (like resource boosts for A.I. in strategy games).
