The "What Movie Did You Last Watch" Thread

Be it on TV, in the cinema, on DVD etc.

Mine was Heartbreak Ridge, with good old Clint Eastwood as a Gunnery Sergeant. Amusing, not bad.

Move it to Spammers Paradise, if you deem necessary Admins.

Watched Doom the other night and was quite impressed especially with the fisrt person shooter part. The film was pretty good overall

Stand By Me on DVD, I'd give it a 8/10. Hadn't seen it before, so it was very strange seeing Kiefer Sutherland from 20 years ago after watching 4 and a half series of 24.

Franko is an unknown

I saw Stay, with Ewan McGregor.
It's one of those movies for brilliant minds..which I didn't get it, because I'm not that smart.
It's about a guy that has an accident and the whole movie is the guy's dream, and nothing makes sense, so you're just waiting for the end to know what the hell is going on, which never happened

Moved to Entertainment, where it will stay if people reply with more than just the title of a movie.

The last film I watched was 'The Life Aquatic' and it was a bit crap. I hate Owen Wilson.

My mate said that it was really funny, but I watched it a few months back and I just didn't get it. Maybe it's Bill Murray, cos another film that I couldn't understand how it was funny was Lost In Translation (sorry Barry)

Haha, no worries. It's a film only I seem to love *grumbles*

I thought The Life Aquatic was nice, not too highstanding, maybe its because I too have a deep hatred for Wilson.

Lost in Translation is a great film. Have you seen his other new(ish) one, Broken Flowers? That's pretty good.

I've heard some very different opinions on that, some love it and others think it's strange. Have yet to try it, IMDB viewers seem to rate it nicely.

It's not just you Barry, quite the opposite, as all my friends love the film too. I haven't seen Broken Flowers but 2 films of Bill Murray I've remembered that I liked when I first saw them are Ghostbusters and Caddyshack.

I liked Groundhog Day(good comedy), Ghotbusters was amusing as well.

Anyone ever heard of this movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0343996/ ?

I believe it is yet to be distributed, but the rating makes me wonder.
