Depsite the deadline day disappointment, Newco have been able to add another midfielder to their ever-growing ranks in the form of the former Marseilles star, Morgan Amalfitano.

The PES 2011 Master League hot prospect, and once-capped French international is a newcomer to the league, and is expected to challenge for a spot in the starting XI.

"I'm delighted with this signing. For a low fee, this makes it a low risk/high reward investment which will certainly please the chairman [Mr. Umit Tuentitree].

I'm pleased with the squad, though business is not over for the summer. We may be looking to send one or two players out on loan." - Ali Beedoubleyoueffsee

After an impressive campaign with Norfolk-based Norfolk Enchance in 2012/2013, manager Jerry Berry decided to search for a new challenge in the form of PESGFFL newcomers Real Sosobad.
Real have started this season like a house on fire, being the only team with a 100% record, and will be seen as hot favourites for the cup.
In a team featuring former Newco stars Asmir Begovic, Oscar and Lewis Holtby, Sosbad have added to that in the form of Newco target Samuel Eto'o, who adds to an already impressive front line.

Newco have started the season well, despite the defeat to Noiseboys and will be hoping to push Sosobad to the limit in both legs, the first leg being away at the Errea Arena. The winner of this round will face the tough prospect of facing either Real Cairo or El Said FC, after the Egyptians face each other in a mouth-watering first round tie.

It is rumoured that Newco may make a few changes to their starting 11, with Angel Rangel, Mile Jedinak and Dwight Gayle rumoured to start.

Ticket Information:
£15 adult
£1 child (Kids for a quid promotion)
£10 coach

In other news, the Newco Ticket Office has apolgised for charging travel fares for the previous two home games, in addition to charging vastly differring ticket chages. Changes are being made to ensure the mistake isn't made in future. Please contact the Ticket Office to claim your part-refund, on 01204 800085.

After finishing last season in style, Egyptian club Real Cairo have started this campaign brightly, with 2 wins out of 3, and a healthy points difference. This weekend's fixture promises to be a close battle, with both teams hoping to stay close to league leaders, Real Sosobad.
Real Cairo have had an interesting summer of transfer activity to say the least. Real Cairo, and fellow Egyptian clubs have been accused of working together in order to ensure that the big name players end up in North Africa.
Having spent large amounts of money on big name signings, Real Cairo have been unable to complete their 25 man squad. Many believe the punishment given to them (has there been any?) has not been severe enough, and will be hoping that stricter rules are enforced next season.

On to the football, RC boast a strong squad, including one of last season's star keepers, Michel Vorm. The midfield (including former Wanderers star David Silva) is quick and skilful. Newcomer, Alvaro Negredo and another ex Newco star, Jay Rodriguez, spearhead the attack.

This is the start of an Egyptian double header, with Newco due to play the Maadi Blues next week.

Key Players:
Petr Čech
José Enrique
Eden Hazard
Mesut Özil

Newco face their toughest league match of the season so far, with a trip to t'Egyptian side, Maadi Blues.
Maadi have had a decent start to the season, with 6 out of a possible 12 points on the board, but will be looking to improve to justify their high spending.
Talented Czech keeper, Petr Čech will be tough to beat for Newco hotshot, Sturrige. An impressive midfield including German Mesut Özil and Belgian Eden Hazard will cause plenty of trouble for the Newco back line. The umpteen goals conceded last week will do little to help their confidence, it is important that they get off to a strong start.
The quality in the Maadi midfield balances out the solid if unspectacular defence and attack.

After finishing just behind the Wanderers in the league last season, Appsletico fans will be expecting a much improved campaign this time around. They have started the league brightly so far, with 9 points out of a possible 15, so there's plenty of optimism in Madrid.
Newco will need to be wary of Spanish hotshot Michu, who has had a quiet-ish start to the league campaign. In-form shortarse, Jermaine Defoe will also need to be watched out for.
The midfield features former Newco man Michael Carrick, who is a steady if unspectacular performer. Peter Whittingham is likely to provide the opportunities for the Madrid front line, in the absence of high-profile expensive flop, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Defensive leader Vincent Kompany has suffered an indifferent start to the season, but will be expected to turn it around, such is his quality and influence on the team. Adventurous fullbacks Cole and Rafael will be looking to get forward at every opportunity.

It's a tough match for the Wanderers, but after dispatching Maadi Blues with ease, they will be high on confidence.

It has been a bit of a mediocre start for Iron City Utd this season. After enduring a difficult transfer window, manager Austin spent big in order to bring Dutch hotshot, Robin van Persie to the club, which hasn't worked out so far. However, the quality of van Persie is undeniable, and Utd will be confident that he will come in to form, lifting the team up the table. Newco will be praying that this will not come to force this weekend.
Elsewhere in the team, there is little to shout about. Defender Matija Nastasic (once tipped to join Newco) has been in and out of the team, but shows promise. Much is expected of young Bulgarian Aleksandar Tonev, who is rated very highly by the Utd manager.

Newco have had a strong start to the season and will be looking to stay hot on the heels of leaders Sosobad. The match against ICU is a potential banana skin, so the Wanderers will have to be at their best to avoid any slip-ups.

This week, the Wanderers welcome the part Polish, part Cockney FC Sklep Guardiola to the QuickQuid.
Currently sitting 6th in the table, it has been a decent start to the season for Sklep. With several talented players on show, they will be seen as a strong challenger for one of the top league prizes on offer.
The dandruff-free Joe Hart will no doubt retain his place between the sticks. Hart has endured a difficult past few months, seemingly making mistakes every game, and making Adam Bogdan look like a world class stopper. But those in the game will tell you that it's just a blip. Slep boss Connolly will be praying for this to be the case.
Sklep's main qualities lie in midfield, with former Newco men Kevin Mirallas and Scott Sinclair (is he still alive??) lining up on the wings.
Connolly's barmy army boast another couple of former Wanderers stars up front, including "that cunt who go injured for half a season, possibly costing us the title" Darren Bent, and selection headache specialist Peter Odemwingie, AKA Winkles. Future England legend Rickie Lambert is likely to be the main threat. There's also Arouna Kone and he's an ex pie eating cunt.
