Ebay assistance
I bought an item on ebay recently and paid straight away through paypal. It was posted to me on the 26th according to the details on the transaction with an estimated delivery time of 4 to 6 days royal mail second class.
This is now obviously past due and I'm a little pissed as I'm unsure as to whether the guy is pissing about or if it's just down to royal mail. A post man who regularly delivers to work thinks that I should definately have had the parcel by now and agrees theres a chance the guy is holding out as the final fee was quite a steal. What is the score with paypal as I have never used it before and my sister set up the payment as a guest. Can I retract the payment if, giving it a couple more days I still haven't recieved it or do I have to go through the seller who I have messaged already with no reply. Any advice or opinion would be greatly appreciated. |

With regards to disputes, I believe Paypal will refund the payment if you can successfully contest non receipt of goods with Ebay.
Message the seller and set him a 24hr deadline to respond, then use the customer support on Ebay to complain if he still fails to respond. I believe there is a direct feed to their customer support. I'm not sure how long their grievance process takes but you need to go down the correct channels to be able to get the cash. |

check out ebay policies first. I think they have protective measures in place for this. this has happened to us but my wife handled so i can't remember how it was resolved. and certainly contact the seller; I have had to do that twice when wrong items were mailed and they quickly fixed the problem.
