I was expecting Brazil to bring quite a strong team, since they're rebuilding for 2014. I've heard good things about Oscar, but I was hoping they would bring Romarinho of Corinthians.

You guys are forgetting Argentina! If Spain can win with no strikers, they might be able to with no defenders.

I was referring to the next World Cup. Bish & Joel only mentioned Brazil & Spain as potential winners.

I went to the Team GB and Brazil game on Friday and we were totally outclassed from start to finish.

It's frightening that somebody like Cleverley is being earmarked as the future of England's central midfield, especially when you compare him to the Brazilian's playing in the same position.

What was the reason he started ahead of Ramsey? Or was it just further evidence of Pearce's ineptitude.

UAE are beating Uruguay at the moment, sensational! They're my favorites (poor choice I know) but I love the underdog fairy-tales.

It was a fantastic goal. Lovely ball cutting through the whole team, good run from the attacker then great composure to round the keeper and smash it in.

Japan beat Spain? Ooo, not a great start for the "2nd favourites" (Brazil being the favourites to win gold).

Luis Suarez booed with every touch by the crowd... They must've been playing at Old Trafford
