Well in the past there have been no prizes but I'll see if I can arrange something along the lines of the winner getting a certain amount of PESI points.

er...I'll also throw in a free pen.

It won't be anything too luxurious I'm afraid. :p

Donations welcome

i think it the Big Guns will dominate this year, there may b 1 outsider who goes far but i think the winner will b from..AC Milan, Juventus, Arsenal, Chelsea or Barcelona, id probably edge towards AC Milan winning it 4 the 2nd time in 3 years at the moment.

Banker in red.

Matchday 1 - Tuesday, 14 September

Arsenal 4-1 PSV
Panathinaikos 1-0 Rosenborg
Celtic 1-2 Barcelona
Shakhtar 0-2 Milan
Internazionale 2-1 Bremen
Valencia 0-0 Anderlecht
Porto 1-0 CSKA Moskva
PSG 0-1 Chelsea

Matchday 1 - Wednesday, 15 September

Deportivo 1-0 Olympiacos

Leverkusen 1-2 Real Madrid
Roma 1-0 Dynamo Kyiv
Ajax 0-2 Juventus
M. Tel-Aviv 0-2 Bayern
Fenerbahçe 1-1 Sparta
Lyon 0-1 Man. United

Quick question, what is to stop people editing their predictions just after the final whistle and before calculations have been made?

Would it not be safer to put a earlier deadline on, then save all of the predictions into notepad or something? As I had some suspicions about some of the the Euro 2004 competition entrants doing that.

I think Paul B records all of the predictions just after the deadline, participants are allowed to change their predictions before the deadline.

Yep, what Gary says to an extent.

As people post their predictions, I record them in excel ready for calculation later on.

Which reminds me, if people want to change any of their predictions that they have previously posted, they must post to notify of their alteration, and not just edit their previously posted predictions otherwise they won't match what I have recorded down. *adds to first post*

Besides, posts can be checked to see whether or not they have been edited and at what time. I'm not sure if I can see this myself but I'm sure my good friend mutu could help out in this area if needed.
