Perfect Corner Technique

I USE MARADONA TO TAKE MY CORNERS BECAUSE HE'S LEFT-FOOTED

WITH A CORNER FROM THE RIGHT:

TURN THE PLAYER'S VIEW TO THE TOUCHLINE/GOAL-LINE UNTIL IT'LL GO NO FURTHER

HOLD DOWN CIRCLE (CROSS/LONG-BALL) AND FILL THE POWER BAR ALL THE WAY

IMMEDIATELY, WHILST BALL IS IN THE AIR HOLD DOWN: UP AND LEFT ON THE D-PAD

THIS WILL SEND THE BALL TO THE BACK POST AND BEND IT OUT OF THE KEEPER'S REACH, WHEN THIS HAPPENS ONE OF YOUR PLAYERS IS FREE TO HEAD THE BALL INTO AN OPEN GOAL

SOMETIMES THE KEEPER DOESN'T COME OUT BUT THIS TECHNIQUE DOES GUARANTEE A FREE HEADER.

FOR A CORNER FROM THE LEFT USE THE SAME TECHNIQUE BUT IN REVERSE AND USE A RIGHT-FOOTED PLAYER BUT NOT BECKHAM BECAUSE HE HAS A DIFFERENT KICKING STYLE

I have just tried it and I don't think using full power works every time as it gets overhit and gors off the pitch or the player can be too far from goal to head it.

It has worked a few times though but don't think it is as successful as you say.

Calm down with the capitals.

for a long time i just pummeled my corners in there, but then one day i had an epiphany... yes indeed, i actually opened my eyes, looked at players in there, and started sending it to one open. Mow i can score from many different set pieces cause players set up different on corners,

1:i can send it low and hard and into a player whos charging into the near goal, and does a hard header into goal. I can easily spot when the set up like this, and all it takes is a defender who is placed lousily.

2: Theres the "send it into dead center" of the box, and let my defender take it. Often times theres one player badly marked or entirely unmarked.

3: Send it long, more dificult but a lot more rewarding, needs some variety in what you do with the ball. ie pass header, attack header, taking the ball down and so on.

My corners are actually good fun now. canty believe i missed this for several months, guess i didnt open my eyes until recently.

EDIT: well, what im trying to say is that if you look at how they set up, youll know what to do. and varying your technique is just more fun gameplay wise.

jbavon, u r right. I been doing this for ages. The more u play the game like IRL the more u get out of it. If u always play the same ball u get found out. Mix it up!

Taking an Inswinging corner (right footed player taking corner from righthand side & vice versa) : -

Line up the corner flag with the goal line.

Hold square until exactly half power bar is filled

Hold the direction away from the goal (for curl)

This should put the ball on someones head for an easy goal.

This works most of the time!

If a right-footed player took a corner from the right-hand side it would be an outswinger not an inswinger

I always make sure I use someone with a high L-pass speed to reduce 'keepr catches off of my corners
