I have recently just seen this film and if any of you are thinking about going to watch it then u should get going quickly as this film as absolutely brilliant.
People who have seen it, what did u think of it??

its not at all brilliant. it is a bog standard disaster movie if you ask me. the hottness of the lead female (Kiera Knightley #2) brings the films rating up a bit, but its still only worth 4/10 in my opinion. There is only about 30 minutes (the first 30) where any action actually occurs.

I liked it. Although the speed at which the climate change took place was extremely exaggerated (it took 6 days rather than 30 or so years) it was still fairly accurate in detailing what WILL happen in the next 50 - 100 years. 7/10.

the makers already said that its not scientifically true... but like they say... they couldnt exactly make a movie over the space of 100 years (the actual time it would take)... so they crammed it all into 2 weeks

the storyline is quite good, but is quite cheesy at times, though the special effects in the film are immense!

yeah the special effects are great! other than that, lets just say it aint the sorta movie your gonna be talking about in a months time or anything. storyline is almost exactly the same as independance day, except with a storm.....not aliens.....
so actually its pretty different! |

I thought it was good. Not amazing though.
Don't know about you lot but I'm moving down to the far south  Friend of mine said he was scarred from watching it. Maybe he's been playing too much PES3 lately I was expecting a huge tidal wave for some reason.
