Good title to get your attention eh?

I was just wondering if anyone knows how long it usually takes for the patchers to make a patch once a game has been released?

How long did it take for WE6:fe?

Do these guys just adjust the patches they've already created to suit a new release?

I can't f***** wait until 7th Aug!!

There should be a translation patch fairly soon after they get the game. Which just might be before the game is released.
Not sure how long a 'proper' patch with kits etc would take.

Stop the press!!! Does anyone know if the sponsors on shirts thing he's describing here 'designable'? I mean, can you do your own like the flags etc in PES2? (but a lot more detailed hopefully!) This really would be the dogs nads!

No way to know if he's even telling the truth about it at this point.
We'll just have to wait and see!

With the high level of excitement, would anyone condone downloading a pirate copy of WE7 before release?
I wouldn't but I'm not sure how others feel.
(also, do you think fifa fans would create and share fake files just to annoy WE/PES fans?)

I might do but only if I was 100% certain that I would buy either an original WE7 or PES3 when they get released. Konami must get it's money from somewhere!!

I'll probably end up buying both as I am a sucker for the commentary (if it's going to be as good as people are saying it will be!)

I wouldn't put it past some FIFA fans to do that. They are, after all, satans spawn..........

Most of the are forgivable as they have probably never heard of or played WE/PES.
The true spawn are the ones who insist fifa is better.
I know plenty of people who have been converted once they "saw the light".

Yeah, me too. I feel like I've actually saved a few people from certain doom. I sound like a Jehovas Witness me!

Is it just me or is it true that all those that say that FIFA is better have only played PES once or twice or never?

They just want to get away from the scary realistic footie game and go back to their warm blanket with their little match where gorillas can nutmeg and lob the whole team before scoring in the top corner ... for every single goal.

It takes money to make money.
If Konami want to be the best, all they have to do is buy the licences and pay for some decent advertising possibly with a top world player.
If they put their ad just after the fifa ones, they could add a funny line to put fifa down. I read someone's signature once:
"fifa - you can edit it but you can head it" or something like that.

A very dubious post indeed Zygalski, I heard of a demo that was released with some magazine, first of Beavis on extreme (which I ignored at first because he does talk a fair bit of crap as you know

), but then other reliable sources were singing the same tune so to speak. There is usually a pirate copy flying around but with konami being secretive over WE7 I don't think they have sent many copies of the game for review.

With reference to Malaysia, there isn’t any way any kind of pirate is circulating. There has been a huge government shut down on pirated movies, games and software...maybe if it were a few weeks ago when there was something going around, I went out looking for a "original" copy of the game

and of the 3 sources I know a fair amount were trying to pass of a patched copy of WE6FE. But this is not to say a pirate copy of the game isn't going around, but there is seriously no action of that kind anywhere in Malaysia for this week and last, this will continue until the government cools down a bit. India is your best bet at the moment, no I encourage this kind of stuff

or encourage we all fly to India in search of a copy

I want to hear something that none of us know, like real game play differences and animations.

I do have one source who confirmed a early copy that looks the like the real thing but doesn't include all the functionality that will be in the final version. Now how to go about getting it

"Bullocks..we7 is not out yet in SG...my supplier knows jack****e about the we-patching world and its true what Adonis said...its a patched version of WE6FE...aptly titled WE7FE Next Version....i laughed when i saw the box-art...its a patch by someone..i couldnt tell...but saw the Geo Merlin ball,familiar kits and updated rosters...duh...oh..my fren's cusion bought it from Malaysia..not from SG for the record...i still believe his cusion has got it....its all cack...roll over 7th August."
