I doubt this deal will go through...but i read in the paper that Real Madrid "may offer David Beckham for Arsenal's Patrick Veira". What a bad trade this would be...Viera should not leave Arsenal and Becks would never look good in an Arsenal jersey!

yea, plus where will he play, freddie ljunberg is already playing the right wing. and Henry dont do headers - he is more of a running type.

Ya, he would end up worse off than he is right now. He had a horrid overall season, and Euro 2004 was bad. I felt kinda bad for him. But I am really hoping that he will show us all that last season was last season and he is gonna kick-ass for us.

i would be shocked... i think that Veira is not worth becks.. maybe playing skill.. but not marketablity.. i mean.. come on.. veira looks like an ogre.. and he probably has layers too...

Ya, but think about how badly Real Madrid needs a Defensive player. They have other players if they happened to do that, god forbid cause it would be silly. If Beckham left we could put in Guti, or even Morientes or Raul in his postion. They do not have a lack of attacking players.

true, viera is not marketable, unlike hime beck can at least score more fans and more winning and maybe more cash for the club. beckham is considered a god almost. but some might disagree during the EURO 2004,*cough missed 2 penalty cough*

didn't Perez already say that Becks will stay, it was his first season at Real anyway so they're gonna give him another chance

I thought that Beckham played well for most of the season. It was only in the last few months that he was slacking. He was scoring some great free kicks and putting in a lot of effort.

Do most of you think Becks will last the whole season at Real, though?
I think he'll be on the move either this season or in around 12 months unless he has one of his best seasons '04/'05.
Even with the odd un-invited intruder in the back garden, Posh has made it quite clear where she's spending most of her time!

I'd love to see Becks playing for Arseanl, even if they are hid old rivals, but not if it means Vieira leaving. Vieira is far more important as a player than Becks would be and Arsenal should do everything they can to keep him and then at the end of the season when they've got a bit of money from winning something they can buy Beckham (I don't actually expect this to happen as its not Wengers style buying big players for big money, but I can dream)
