PES4 without lag?

Question,

I understand there is a bit (or a lot don't know) slowdown in WE8 during corners or when the box is to crowded. So I've heard that they'll (Konami) fix it perhaps for PES4. Thats where I lost track. I understood that the slowdown is probably caused because WE8 is a bit to much for good ol' PS2. So if they fix it with PES4, they'll probably have to leave certain things out of PES4 in order to get it fixed. Or is the PS2 capable to make PES4 run smooth with all of the gamefeatures (gameplay.animations, cutscenes ect.) of WE8?

I really don't find it much of a problem. If no-one else had mentioned it before I played we8 I may not have even notice, I certainly wouldn't class it as a downfall of the game. Nothing to worry about at all IMO.

yes they might loose something, but that might be a good thing, say they got rid of the feature where the players always pass with the outside of there foot, but they should keep it so they do it occasionaly.

If you get me

I don't think I would have a big problem with it either. But I can't play WE8, because I have no chipped PS2. I know WE8 is a very great game, but I'm a little bit afraid that PES4 will be a bit to different (read, by far not as good as WE8 is) from WE8 because the want to get rid of the lag. That's the problem...

Oh yeah I get you. I know the game isn't perfect, but probably will be the closest thing to real football. If PES4 is exactly like WE8 (with slowdown) I will be happy.... I just know for sure it will be a better game than PES3 (which I love)....

In the PES4 beta, there is no lag at all on 50Hz.
On 60Hz, it gets quite bad in the penalty areas when there are a lot of players around (corners etc).

the slowdown on the PES4 beta version at 60hz is 10 ten times better than the slowdown on WE8 so there has been improves in this area. The Slowdown in the penalty area was shocking in WE8 in some stadiums. I'm pretty sure the full release at 60hz will feature no slowdown at all.

I know alot of people got abit upset by the stutter thing in PES3 but in my opinion the slowdown is way worse.

Listening to the commentary will help you figure it out. Put commentary on 3* and you'll soon see.

Yes a very good question. Is there anyway of finding out which version you have? I mean before you could tell if you have the BETA version like in PES3 with the white ball but not now. Any ideas?
