Summer Holidays

I've just got back from mine, it was alright, nothing to rave about really.

I went to Benalmadena, Costa Del Sol for two weeks.

I enjoyed a singalong with some Swedes(people not the vegetable) in the apartment next to me on the balcony til 4 in the morning, we sung pretty much anything, House Of the rising Sun to Wonderwall, even Delilah.

We had a 5 hour delay going out and 4 hour coming home, which wasn't nice.

So how were your holidays? Any funny stories? Where did you go? Who had the biggest delay? Anything else we should know?

Going on holiday next Thursday to Albufera (sp?) in Portugal. I'll share stories when I return.

i was in benalmadena too! just near malaga right...

i got back on saturday after being there for two weeks. What apartments did you stay in? I stayed in the Minerva apartments, which had a brilliant swimming pool.

The nightlife is pretty good there aswell (apart from all the spaniards looking for a fight- twats). CJ's karaoke bar was good (bit small though), and there were a few good bars around the bonanza square wasn't there.

Did you check out the 24hr square?? It was excellent, it's best to go on a weekday as there would be less spanish people there. Mango's and Beer Keller were quality. (expensive for a drink though).

Im gonna go back there next year hopefully, because i thought it was brilliant there.

Yep that was it, didn't get in many clubs just stuck to pubs after a meal. Did you get those annoying buggers with a tambourine and banjo playing at the resturants? By god they pissed me off!!!!

I was in the Benalmadena Palace, right at the top of a steep hill, seemed steeper after a few San Miguels!

Did you get to any of the nearby places? I went to Peurto Banus, thought it was a bit shitty really, all the posers with there yachts, lucky buggers! Gibralter was good though, got a pair of Boss jeans.... £40 BARGAIN!!! Boss t shirts from£15 Armani T shirts from £20 Ck stuff cheap too. Loads of aftershave for quite cheap and spirits were as cheap as chips!

i stayed pretty local when i was there. I went to Aqualand, which was pretty shit, only a few good rides, being the kamikaze, twister, boomerang and the racing one. other than that the other rides were poor.
I played football at the deportivo place, which was a big football pitch (great pitch aswell) which was somewhere up towards the train station.

I agree with you about those damn musicians! they even had the cheek to play the same tune every night for two weeks!! Dont even get me started on them bloody street sellers though...

I went to Lanzarote not long ago. The nightlife over there is brilliant. Them street sellers are soooo annoying. If you say no to somethin they offer you, then they follow you round the streets trying to flog it to you for half price etc. I think I will go back there again when I'm a bit older though.

My Mums going to Spain nxt week, party at my house

I aint going on holiday until the 18th Septemaber that way I get two weeks off 6th form

I'm going to Orlando, Florida. Been there three times before and it is truely the shit, appart from the amount of annoying people e.g. the Mexicans that think they'll get on the rides quicker if they keep nudging my friggin back ever five secs :mad:. The rides are some of the best in the world (especially Busch Gardens) and the animal parks are pretty special to, such as sea world where you can get within a few feet of a family of killer whales.

Usually theres only three or four of us staying in a hotel this time theres nine of us staying in a villa in Kissimee, can't bloody wait
