I'm not convinced about Real Madrid winning the title, Barca have made some good signings (not that Real madrid haven't) and I think they might just scrape it this year. I would like Valencia to win it though.

I think Valencia will win it again this year, although I expect it'll be v.tight at the top.

Great season in prospect.

The only reason that Madrid hadnt dominated every competition for the past 5 years is because theyve never invested in a defense, that was because the chairman 'didnt want to' . Now that theyve bought Samuel and Woodgate, they should be collecting the honours easily.

I think Spanish football is daft anyway, the gorvernment pays Madrid money to invest in players! Apparently it 'increases tourism'. Although tourism i suppose is actually what the Spanish economy relies on to stay afloat.

Real Madrid and Barca will be fighting it out again, just like old days.

Think Woodgate and Samuel will be excellent signings for Madrid toughening them up where they needed it, also think Becks will play well all season this time instead of just at the start and Owen (plus Morientes) will be good back up if Raul goes on another of his barren runs or Ronaldo gets injured again

Real to do it this year

Real Madrid, but it will be a battle, defense was a big problem for Real last season, but now they have it with Samuel and Woodgate, even if Woodgate is injured a lot again, I think Samuel can hold the fort on his own
and when Real was missing Ronaldo, they always seemed to struggle, but now with Owen and Morientes on great form, they don't have to depend on him as much, they maybe even able afford to rest him once in a while

If Barcelona kept Davids (did they??) then i think they might win it. He was the main reason (not ronaldinho) that Barcelona did so well in the 2nd half of the season. Ofcourse Ronaldinho helped, but not as much as davids.

If not then i reckon Real will win it this year. They've got some solid defenders now so they have a good balance.

Barca didn't get Davids, he went to Inter as they offered the most money presumably. I can't imagine any other reason why he would choose Inter over Barca.
