Kill Bill

What does everyone think of this film? I'm thinking of renting or buying it.

Cheers.

Singh has stepped out of the darkness into slightly less darkness

With this thrilling, must-see movie event, writer and director Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction) completes the action-packed quest for revenge begun by The Bride (Uma Thurman) in Kill Bill Vol.1! Having already crossed two names from her Death List, The Bride is back with a vengeance and taking aim at Budd ( Michael Madsen) and Elle Driver (Daryl Hannah), the only survivors from the squad of assassins who betrayed her four years earlier. It's all leading up to the ultimate confrontation with Bill ( David Carradine), The Bride's former master and the man who ordered her execution! As the acclaimed follow-up to the instant classic Vol.1 – you know all about the unlimited action and humor, but until you've seen Kill Bill Vol. 2, you only know half the story!

Vol. 1 is better than Vol. 2 by far. They're like two totally different films. It's still worth watching though.

Cheers mate, I'm looking up some more reviews for it to see what other people say, so I can get a good idea of what it's like.

i didn't see kill bill vol.2 but vol.1 was great i liked what quentin did with the directing and he has a unique way in story telling, funny thing though when i went to see that movie it was midnight, there were only 6 in the whole theatre and after the ending all people started swearing that it wasn't quite satisfying and they should see vol.2 before sorting things out

I liked both. I enjoyed watching Vol 1. more than Vol 2. They were also kinda funny. I liked the 88's a lot. That scene was awesome. I just rented Vol 2. a few days ago, and watched it today, I liked most of it. You should buy them/ rent them. I am going to buy both when I have money.

I agree, the first was like fresh and new and somewhat unreal and the second was more old sckool kung fu type movie with no-where near as much action or blood thus making it a much less enjoyable movie yet both are a must see, vol. 1 is my fav movie of all time, well joint top with scarface and pulp fiction

Don’t believe the hype. Kill Bill is way overrated in my opinion. Seriously, what’s so special about it? I’m fond of Tarantino’s other work (notably Pulp Fiction, True Romance and Reservoir Dogs) but I didn’t like the Kill Bill movie at all. It lacks any realism! There’s some good dialogue in the scenes involving the character Bill in Volume 2 but that’s the only good thing about it. I must say I was utterly disappointed because I expected better and I’m just quite amazed by the amount of plaudit it gets.

You wouldn't expect any realism because the main aim of the hero (to kill bill) is achieved by a weird hand move that makes the heart explode.

Start watching "Mind, body and kick arse moves" on BBC3, I wouldn't be suprised if some of the people on that could make your heart explode.

You're suggesting that watching a program on TV may make my heart explode? That's odd.

Doesn't it carry a warning not to try any of the moves as there is a risk of spazing yourself up.

As for Kill Bill, buy buy buy.
