Broadband Bandwidth Help

I am up for getting a 1MB Broadband subscription but the catch is that there is a 3GB Bandwidth limit, what does this mean, and is it a good idea to get it.

Well it dependsdo you DL alot of music and videos and stuff?

All it means is that in one month the most you are allowed to transfer to and from your machine via that ISP is 3GB.

well i wil at that speed i am gonna watch a lot of videos on it, and the d/load speed will be quick anyway, so will this affect it.

i would recommend that you do not get this plan.. your average download speed from a good server should be over 100k a second.. in theory you could download that in about 6 - 10 hours.. so look for something that is unlimited.. or atleast 10gigs...

I'm on 150k and I get unlimited bandwith, and I leave my PC on all day downloading a lot of things.

i'm on a 120 k broadband and I get unlimited bandwith.. i always download a lot of things like videos etc

120k.. thats not very good.. although i am on 56k.. is the price reasonable compared to other options?? (no good telling me the prcies coz i don't know how much internet is in the UK)

Im on 512k, unlimited bandwidth. ISP is plusnet, clearly the best around.

i got 750k with 1gb bandwith per day. if i am downloading stuff over 1 gb i normally tend rto start at night one day so it carries on inot the next. what happens if most of u go over your bandwith. my internet just seems to go slower thats all. i think it goes down to about 200k. next time it does i'll check it at www.testmy.net

120 k is the cheapest broadband in brunei.. B$98 a month

I'm on 608kb download 288kb upload, they say there's a 1GB limit per day, but I've passed that loads of times with nothing happening so I'm saying it's unlimited bandwidth ^_^
