USA 94, only time i was able to follow from start to finish. It's more of a person TV experience rather then the quality of football. I mean, i watched all the matches, from what i can remember.

Baggio ALMOST acheived legend status, i mean a maradona like status but one missed penalty later, he's forggotten.

World Cup Italia 90.

I was 10 at the time and was beginning to learn about the wider game of football (as opposed to just Man Utd). England played excellently and there were so many great moments in that month or so. David Platt's beautifully executed volley in the final minute of Extra time against Belgium, Gazza dazzling the Dutch (And Stuart Pearce's brilliant freekick (later dissallowed coz the kick wasn't direct) Lineker's striking brilliance - the two penalties versus Cameroon. And of course THAT semi final with (then) West Germany, Gazza's skill, and his tears and the thrilling penalty shootout (Pearce and Waddle missed)

And capped off with Germany and Argentina in a down n dirty final!

Mike.

I didn't really watch '94 WC, because I was 3!
98 was pretty good, but it was ruined by a stupid diving Argentinian b*stard!
'02 was wikked, especially when England beat Argentina....great moment!

I would say for me 94 was very special coz it was in the United States and I actually got to go to some of the games. 2002 was sweet coz the United states beat two teams that I loathe..(Mexico and Portugal)
